I was wondering myself is the Utrom Shredder survived because he was going to come back in Fast Forward as he taken over a Triciton’s body and he was never mentioned in the 2012 series when they were in the Prime universe, but for Karai I don’t know especially where Dr Chapman went.

I think she is hated more than she deserves in my opinion she's not even s villain she's a woman with a conflict inside of her mind because of that conflict between her loyalty to the man who saved her and doing the right thing

I know Karai was raise by the Shredder when she was a kid but she really should have known the differents between right and wrongs as well as see the kind of heartless monster the Shredder really is. I mean Karai has wittness many time of cruelty and threaten the Shredder has shown towards those who works for him as well as trying to destroy the Turtles who were trying to save New York/ Earth from him. Now in Season 4 Karai became the next Shredder which I have to agree what Leonardo is saying that he was wrong about Karai as she's knows nothing about honour as she choose to become exactly like the Shredder and a villian instead of letting it go the past and start her new life for good.

Hun as a mutant turtle was meant as an easter egg for Slash, I suspect. But without changing his name, more in line with the way the show tried to keep itself separate from the Fred Wolf and Archie lore.
