I'm a comic nerd so usually I'm in the camp of watching these for fun but knowing most of the info already, but after getting Marvel Rivals and having never heard of Luna Snow, I have finally experienced the feeling of thank god for Nando.

Like, if you followed most things Marvel, you'd be aware how big of a splash Luna Snow was. Marvel made a big push when they only had mobile titles, and really latching on the K-Pop dominance that was taking over, and her in games and her music were everywhere. She's so popular, yet hasn't broken out of this circle. Even though she's popular, but not too popular, she really eclipsed other characters that followed her, like Aero and Wave, who they wanted to make heroes for other underrepresented Asian countries, who just... Never took off.

Here's some trivia for you guys. I was playing Future Fight when she first released and she was the second game originals character. For some reason, there was a period of time where Future Fight was constantly pumping out original characters. The first one was Captain America Sharon Rogers (daughter of Steve and Peggy if Steve was never frozen in ice), second was Luna Snow, the third one was Crescent and Io (they are technically two characters but they are actually just one character, kinda like how Cloak and Dagger are two characters but they're one playable character in Marvel Rivals, because Io is just a spiritual bear that was created by Crescent's mask), the last ones were the Warriors of the Sky (made up of 4 different characters: Blue Dragon, Sunbird, Shadow Shell, and War Tiger. They're the weirdest of the game original characters because they're very obviously based on the whole "Four Symbols" mythological creatures). The reason why they made Luna a KPOP idol is because the creator of Future Fight, Netmarble Games, is a korean company. Out of all of the game original characters Luna's reception was the best and she and Crescent/Io were the only ones to have a proper comic debut. One trend that pretty much every single game that features Luna has is there is always a song that Luna sings in it. When Luna debuted in Future Fight, she had her first single, Tonight. That was the only time where Future Fight actually had a "voice actor" for a character because a song needs to have a singer. They did an interview with HyungSeo, the KPOP idol who provided her vocals for Luna. After that, whenever Luna got a uniform(skin but with major buffs for the characters), a new song would be released with it and you would be able to hear the song in-game if you have her as the leader(I think the song only plays if Luna's the leader but I could be wrong). She also appeared in Marvel Super War, a mobile moba game with Marvel characters that ended in a disaster, and she also had a song tied to her in that game as well. Right now, she also has a song tied to her in Marvel Rivals. I guess there's something consistent with her.

Dazzler and Luna Snow could work together in the right deck because the Ice Cube doesn't destroy until the start of the next turn. That also means even if you fill on turn 5, you get the extra energy on 6. I feel like this timing won't change because it would be a pretty big buff to Luna Snow if it destroyed immediately on filling.

Yeah, the way the Rivals lore descriptions work is that the first paragraph is a general introduction to the characters (Tony Stark built an Iron Man suit in a cave from a bunch of scraps) and the second is the in game lore (Tony is currently working with Reed Richards to build a device to restore the timelines while fighting off Dracula).

Ice powers seem like such a video game-y power. Like yeah I know there’s Iceman but it feels so clear that ice powers aren’t common enough in comics that they needed to create someone since that power is so crucial for video games

Pretty interesting that outside of Iceman, marvel has very few snow/ice/cold powered characters. Especially since dc has loads. Mr freeze, capt cold, killer frost and ice. Also superman has frost breath

I actually love that they did this instead of dazzler i mean dont get me wrong i love dazzler but this just opens up more people to know that marvel has a lot of characters whether originated from comic, movie, or game it just lets other people know of other less known characters and i love that.

The plan was to steal the reactor cores. Seol Hee (Luna Snow) tried her best to stand up to them so the AIM commander had her and the other idols thrown into the reactor as a punishment for being a nuisance to them. The stadium had a reactor because it was owned by Tony Stark. That's the kind of thing he does.

I like the idea of an all Asian team but every time I see or hear anything about agents of atlas I find it hard to care. Things like “k-pop star”… maybe I’m too old to relate. I read two comics that were tie-ins of war of the realms and it was the first tie-in I quit. I ended up reading avengers, daredevil and the main storyline. But agents of atlas was the one that made me think “I ain’t reading the entire thing”, even though I was interested to know where wave and aero came from.

Jimmy Woo? It's kind of odd seeing civilians from the MCU in the comics, now. Especially ones with pretty minor roles. Reading Scarlet Witch and Darcy(Thor+Wandavision) is a main character To learn Jimmy(Ant-Man and The Wasp + WandaVision) also has his own run is kind of jarring.

He was the main character of a comic of him fighting a fu Manchu knock off in the 50’s, a minor shield agent until the original agents of atlas comic, which based off a what if comic of “what if the avengers was in the 50’s, a tram full of characters that were around in the 50’s.

1. I wouldn't go that far, but a story addressing the pressures that K-pop idols are put under would certainly be a good idea. 2. I think Luna is too professional for that exactly, but a scenario where something goes wrong during a concert and she has to improvise something could work very well. 3. That would be excellent.
