Who is Marvel's Namor? The "First" and Strongest Mutant.

Namor has been a favourite of mine since the 1970s Defenders, he was never really a hero or villain, or even anti-hero, he was just Namor who did what Namor does because he's Namor. Most people compare him to Aquaman but I think he's more comparable to Black Adam.

@Psychometrics Namor's story in Marvel Comics #1 was a reprint of Motion Picture Funnies #1. Human Torch first appeared in Marvel Comics #1. Namor is therefore the first Marvel (then known as Timely Comics) hero.

@@Themegatrolll No he's not. Aquaman can keep pace with Wonder Woman, who can hold her own with Superman. Aquaman can telepathically cause brain hemorrhages. Aquaman can literally make the undersea life at his command stronger, while Namor can only control normal fish. Namor can't win.

Reason why I say this is because he's the first the mutant and Autuma is in the film, so I believe the reason why Wakanda and Atlantis will go to war is because of him. Manufacturing the reason for war in the first place. Shuri will fight him but they'll come to a truce once learning of Autuma's treason or whatever he has planned.

Being a Marvel OG, I never understood why they didn't incorporate and promote him earlier. While he was a antihero to humans, he is a hero to Atlantians. He hated human polluters and destroyed them. In today's world, he would be at the forefront of the dangers of climate change and its affect on Atlantis. Great story lines, in my opinion.
