This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the Marvel Comics character "The Thing." From Ben Grimm growing up poor with his older brother Daniel in New York City as a part of the Yancy Street Gang, getting on the right path after getting taken in by his doctor uncle, meeting his best friend Reed Richards as a roommate while on a football scholarship at Empire State University, becoming an excellent pilot during his stint in the U.S. Air Force, gaining his unique appearance and superpowers after being dosed with exotic cosmic energy alongside Susan Storm and Johnny Storm during Reed's spaceship test flight, striving for the betterment of humanity as a part of the Fantastic Four, insecurities not preventing him from having a love-life and eventually marrying Alicia Masters, various adventures during the Secret Wars, a major role in the Fear Itself storyline after grabbing onto The Serpent Cul Borson's Hammers of The Worthy and becoming Angrir Breaker of Souls, briefly absorbing the Infinity Gems to become The Infinity Thing, to membership with other superhero teams like The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy; Let's take a look at this powerful Marvel superhero, and arguably the toughest mutate in the Marvel Universe. @@williammansfield9711 Thing is more or less on the level of Colossus and he was seen in a panel being stretchered out with his face caved in, luckily in metal form. Colossus was still pretty much a pacifist at that point but he's just as tough as Thing now too. 2nd tier strong guys don't get the same respect as the Hulk and Thor level characters.

Gotta love Ben Grimm, easily one of the best heroes in the world. He could've let his anger and grief get to him but he's become one of the greatest heroes in the Marvel universe to the point that people haven't thought of him as a monster like they do of the Hulk despite his much more monstrous appearance.

Love this character immensely. My favorite F4 member. Been a fan since the 1967 cartoon. Speaking of his height and weight, many artists have drawn him being much taller and heavier. As for his strength, he can actually lift more than 100 tons now.

Love this video. However, I personally would give Ben a rating of 10 because to me his a legend among legends. As for his strength, while not on par with Wonder Man, Hulk, Thor, Hercules, Sentry, Blue Marvel, Beta Ray Bill, Gladiator, and Sentry, Ben Grimm is still regarded as one of the strongest men and beings on Earth in the Marvel Comics franchise.

A VARIANT OF (The THING) I IMAGINE COULD EXIST, HIS FUTURE WIFE & MORE: I imagine in a different realm, a variant of (Ben Grimm) his hero-title is Mr.Thing, and I imagine he has a few extra abilities. For starters one of his extra abilities; Is the ability to transform his rock body back to human, but this ability doesn’t develop until six years later. In addition I imagine another one of his extra abilities, is the ability to learn to do magic, I imagine after mastering learning to do magic, he then casted a spell on himself. And that magic spell gives him the power to regenerate, so that way his body doesn’t age at a normal pace anymore. Now I imagine ten years later (Ben Grimm) aka Mr.Thing, he meets his fourth love interest, and I imagine she is a Alpha Level mutant. Her full name is (Monet St. Croix) & her mutant title is M, I imagine she has an extra mutant ability, and it gives her the ability to have super strength that lasts for eight hours. I also imagine she has a second extra ability, and it’s the power to slow down her body’s natural aging process willingly. Now I imagine BEN dates MONET, for a number of months, before he had decided to propose to her, and I imagine a year later they got married. To add I imagine nine months later they have their first child, that’s a baby boy, and I imagine his name is (Ben Mathews Grimm Jr.). Plus to add I imagine he begins developing his abilities at age:4, and his abilities don’t finish developing until age:30.
