Pile 1 was spot on to the relationship I have with my mother in law. I married my husband at the age of 20 and she became the critical voice in my head. Our family is very religious in the mormon religion. I had a spiritual awakening and have recently walked away from that religious belief and she is very upset. We do not have the same relationship we use to when I was dependent on her. I have grown into my own women and am flourishing. Well, a huge part of self growth is admitting and recognizing where you've made the mistake in a relationship. Pile 1 was more of a mirrored reading. It resonates in the way that it was I who tried to control everything. pile 2 is my best friend / ex best friend of almost 2 years, it started when we both got into this friend group. A few months in, i said i was going to take a mental break but i never really did. A few months after that she said that she was taking a break, a little before this we got into a disagreement because i wasn't able to attend her birthday dinner and sent me a really harsh text message about it (we're used to making fun of each other but this was different). Pile 1. Sounds like my mother. There's no excuse for her to treat me like she does. For my entire life (nearly 60 years) I've tried to get along with her and have a relationship with her, but I'm done trying. She's always right, and she can continue to be right all by herself. Holy fuuuuuu…. I’m not even through the reading for pile one and I’m stunned. My mother disowned me when I came out as non-binary. She is incredibly religious (JW) and told me she can’t wait until Armageddon so I can see how wrong I was… I raised myself and she used to be so proud of the person I was- and when you said the thing about this person enjoys having you under their thumb in an almost egotistical way, it smacked me in my face. Wow, you have described my mom so perfectly. (pile 1) You can say it... narcissist. I have been healing from an emotionally abusive childhood. She can be so negative and quite frankly not nice when you don't agree with her. I have been distancing myself more and more. Pile 1 and it's my daughter who is in a psychologically abusive and manipulative relationship. Her partner separated us...and my granddaughter. But; she didn't have the courage to stand up to him rather than put things right. I've been heartbroken. I haven't seen her since September 2020. We were always so close. At 4.30pm I left her place after laughing and joking and had organised a time for us to meet up the next day. 5.15pm I got a really upset call from her. He had abused her. I've never heard from her again. He's the only one who is on her Facebook page now, like he runs it. I used to be at daughter's place 4 days a week. 100% true on pile #1! It was my friend who, because of her money, always felt she had the upper hand and would boss me around in public. Yet, she loved parading me around with her as if we were a thing which we NEVER were. But she caused a scene out at dinner recently and I had it and walked out. She tried to bait me into text arguments and then insulted me for not giving in to talking to her face to face so I blocked her and have moved on with my life. She always wanted everything on her terms and had a terrible alcohol addiction on top of it all so I'm better off for sure. And yes, I've been seeing 555 constantly lately, lol. Pile 1: this was surprising. It’s about an auntie that really needs to go to rehab. I haven’t cut her off completely, but I have been keeping my distance. She’s not a terrible person, and she definitely has had a hard life, but she lacks self awareness. So until she changes, we will never be close again. Pile #3: old flame, I don’t even know why I’m surprised he comes up anymore. He isn’t lazy but he does have “golden child” vibes.
