Well, it's a quote from The Time article. Zelenskyy top advisers say about him: “He deludes himself, ” one of his closest aides tells me in frustration. “We’re out of options. We’re not winning. But try telling him that. It is immovable, verging on the messianic.” According to the Economist Zelenskyy is literally screaming at his generals at this point. One Austrian artist was in a similar state in 1945 . Zelenskyy "achievements" to date: 790,000 Ukrainians are dead, 3x that mangled and crippled for life, half of Ukraine's population is living as refugees scattered all over Europe and Russia right now, they're drafting women because they've run out of men to kidnap off the streets. NYT wrote about these mass kidnappings that were happening only in Zelenskyy Ukraine and Hitler's Germany in 1945 in an article ‘People Snatchers’. According to Zelenskyy latest statement only joining NATO or nukes can save his hide. These are lunatic ramblings of a desperate dictator before the imminent collapse of the regime.

Other factors that should have a significant impact on the disparity of Russian-Ukrainian losses is the level of training and experience of soldiers and commanders on the ground as well as an attitude and a willingness to continue throwing people and weapons at the enemy for political/propagandist purposes. In both cases Ukraine is at a huge disadvantage.

@@vp6087 The fact that this war has lasted so long is why so many Ukrainian soldiers have died. Ukraine should have negotiated in late 2022 when it had the most leverage. Now it is losing a critical fortification town every day. The end is near.

At the beginning of the war, Zelensky said that they had recruited an army of 1,200,000 people, and they were constantly mobilizing, 30,000 per month. And now they have a shortage of people. Where did the whole army go? Where did all those people who were mobilized go? what 80,000 losses can we talk about? Let's do some estimates, focusing solely on troops involved in this conflict. Initial counts (February 2022): Russia: 190K regular forces + ~50K separatist forces Ukraine: ~300K regular forces Mobilized: Russia: ~600K additional troops Ukraine: ~1 million additional troops Total troop estimates: Russia: 190K + 50K + 600K = 840K Ukraine: 300K + 1M = 1.3M 800.000 troops UK army are missing????….Holiday or underground?

Ukraine i think said that they have incurred about 63k Kia and 300k-400k wounded who cannot fight anymore. If the Ukrainian army had 800k personnel at the start of the war and have been recruiting on avg 20k soldiers every month, then that is about 1.5 - 1.6 million personnel. With the reported losses that means they should still have atleast 1million soldiers, so why are they saying there is a manpower shortage and need to lower mobilization age? That itself is proof that they are lying and have lost close to 1 million soldiers KIA and wounded.

After Bakhmut Prigozhin said openly that Wagner suffered 20k killed. Mediazona actually corroborates that number with 19k of their number. Among Wagner majority of casualties were ex prisoners, about 15k. Russia is still using a lot ex prisoners as assault units. All fighters are getting really high salaries by Russian standards. Even higher for those who volunteer, who are majority. All those veterans are getting enormously high respect in their society.

About Ukrainian losses It was around the beginning of February 2024 The numbers are similar KZbin does not allow you to specify a link, but I saw this video on the telegram City Chernyakhiv, Zhytomyr region. An elderly woman walks and can’t find her son on the memorial steles. She is offended by the authorities who did not include her son in these signs. I counted 70 people (dead) If we roughly estimate the proportion of 9 thousand people of the city and 43 million people (and 9 thousand and 43 million are the data of Ukrstat before SVO, so it does not matter how much the real population of Ukraine is), we get about 330 thousand deaths. Since then, I’ve already seen in several cities like this Since those times I think about 110-170-200 thousand have been added (taking into account the increase in the rate of losses on the Ukrainian side) It’s very rude, but still roughly equivalent to project "wartease" (calculations Ukrainian losses )
