Komfo Another is from Awukugua. With own eyes in 1970-71 saw a miracle by Anokye in a river area in Apirede Akuapem. And it is still there today. I was 15yrs when I saw this and a Middle school form 4 pupil. Today only few people in Akuapem have seen this. Guan is Gonja, Senya and okere(kyerepong)

The fact that he met him in Akuapim land and brought him to Ashanti doesn't necessarily mean he is from Akuapim. It simply means that's where he met him. He could have been from some other place, travelled there and was met by the King.
