In one of his videos, Alan Watts has said that "all mainstream religions are indistinguishable from the original." This, to my mind, is the reason for the confusion in the world of religion.

The first human on earth was Adam and his wife eves. They were sent from heaven. So the origin has to be the same if u follow any religion doesn't matter. As prophet Adam was the first and prophet Muhammad was the last prophet of Islam and in between about 1.24 lakh prophets were sent to guide the people to know the lord, the creator. The meassage was always same to follow Allah but after the demise of the prophets people start adding/substracting things from those religions.

@@MS-Hussain A Muslim lady asked, Saint Scholar Giani Niranjan Singh Ji, Shiromani Kathakar, of Guru Nanak Ashram, Patiala - "What is the difference between Islam and the Sikh religion?" The Master replied, "There is no difference." The lady was astounded at this reply and asked, " Master, how can you say this" The Master replied, "My daughter, I say this, simply because the Truth is One. It is only our form of worship which is different."

With all due respect to the Shaikhs , I think diving so deep into the technicalities of the FIQH to the detriment of tackling the real problems islam is facing today is a waste of time .. In my humble opinion, the real problems worth spending time on are the violent elements in the Sharia/jusrisprudence and the resulting Islamic hatred and terrorism that are destroying us from within.

Jaafar Morocco alhus Sunnah wal Jamaah have never condoned terrorism. The problem with terrorism doesn't stem from traditional orthodox Islam. It comes from the foolish who are mislead by this new movement who are calling people back to tawhid and the path of the salaaf radiallahu Anhum, as if somehow Islam died. The billions of Muslims practicing Islam were all wrong and this sect is here to save us. Stick to Ahlus Sunnah, you'll be fine. Our teachers do nothing but condemn terrorism. There will always be mad men amongst people, terrorism isn't much of an issue, the media blow it out of proportion. We hold 1/4 more or less of the population of the world. If it was a doctrinal belief the world would be in trouble, it wasn't until the late 70s and 80s did this word start to be associated with Islam.

I am from India and we follow the hanafi school alhamdullillah. But we do respect and consider all the schools to be correct. As far as terrorism is concerned it's more a regional issue than islamic. It's very unfortunate that muslim countries like Egypt, Morocco etc. considers following islamic obligations as dangerous/ disrespectful. They r following on the footsteps of those who r destroyed themselves with no family system
