Tash is such a great singer, not just for AK imo. She has a strong yet husky voice which I extremely love. She also has great control, range, and vibrato. She literally singlehandedly carry the group vocally. Liz has really nice tone and it can go well enough with Tash, Jenny has amazing presence despite the lack of vocal ability. And Kerry is Kerry.

I totally agree with you! Tash is the strongest vocal of the group. Also Liz has improved her voice so much since the 1st album. I remember Liz’s voice is very stunning in the 3rd album. The 1st verse of If You Come to Me is very high pitch and perfect! OMG! I love them so much! They were like my English teachers when I was in grade 5! I practiced English from their songs! Time flies by... still miss them! Thank you for making Girl Band Thursday! I’ve enjoyed so much since Girls Aloud and Sugababes!

Kerry was the original member then Liz then Heidi. Then Heidi was replaced with Natasha. Kerry got in the band purely on personality and winged it. Just like Geri did in the Spice Girls, both of them are great characters.

Natasha has the vocal power, but the other two (or three) give sweetness because her voice is a bit bluesy. Liz's voice is light and sweet (she sounds like Kylie Minogue). Perhaps, Tash did not want a vocal competitor. This could be the way how Jenny appeared in the band. They are the best when all three (with Jenny) participate in a song. Liz and Jenny lighten Natasha's robust voice.

I agree totally. I knew exactly who would be number one before you said it. I've seen Natasha in Cinderella pantomime. She was amazing. She sang "whole again " and "the tide is high " in it. And another ballad. She was brilliant. And had such great presence.

The single is titled “Crash Landing” which is pretty much how it did on the charts, unfortunately. I remember going to HMV to purchase the single. Interesting fact, if you KZbin search Jenny Frost Bad Girl you’ll hear a recording she did of a song that was originally intended for Lisa Scott-Lee’s ill-fated Unleashed album 💖💖💖

With the second lineup think all of them have their something to add to the group… Natasha and her raspy warm voice great for all of the high energy songs. Liz has a sweet soft voice good for all of those ballads (specially the acoustic stuff), and then; Jenny has a sensual, sultry, sophisticated tone good for those seduceing background parts, ad-lips, and better suited for harmonies. she carried the song ‘ladies night’ very well as a lead because it’s such a sultry song. Suits her voice well Kerry added more of the Disney vibe to the girls, but when she left, and Jenny joining the group-they transformed from a Disney pop to a more mature sensual pop group (which they wouldn’t be able to pull off with Kerry- she adds immaturity to the group along the lines of Disney, Kerrie is the worst out of all 4-she can’t hold a tune to save her life)

Exactly. Woman in love is not Barbra Streissands song. She have sing it and it is best on her voice. But song is written by Barry and Robin Gibb. Original song is by Barry Gibb. And he personally is given this song to Liz. So I think he thought it would fit to Liz.

Kez wasn’t pushed out of the band she got pregnant on Mollie & decided to leave so Jenny came in. When Whole Again went to no 1 there was actually 4 in the band the first week it hit no 1. Jenny has a nice voice! I like listening to her and I bought Crash Landing when it was released back in 2005! I remember it being played a lot when I was on holiday in Crete back at that time. This is what I think about their voices: Kerry has more character in her voice, but singing wise it was very lacking. Just like back when Geri was in the Spice Girls during their Hey Days. Jenny's voice is plain but has sultry tone in it. It's like the mature version of Jewel. Liz's vocals has some innocence in it but very cookie cutter and safe. Just like Emma Bunton's voice. Natasha is definitely the voice of the group. Her vocal tone can be compared to Trisha Yearwood or Taylor Dayne.

Disappointed that Natasha was 1st. Being from Liverpool I’ve had the misfortune of interacting with her in after parties and the both times she’s been nasty. She asked my friend who had bad acne as a child, so has scarred skin whether he was from Spotland. Isn’t that a horrible thing to say to someone who has confidence issues over their skin. I guess she believed cause she was famous that she could behave the way she wanted without consequence.

Tash was their ace in the pack, without her I don't think they would have made it. Liz was always quite good as well. Kerry wasn't a singer, she got chosen because of her looks and personality, she could carry a tune, and in a lot of their early performances with her like I want Your love on TOTP she was up to par with the other 2. Jenny however is more of a talky singer, not really a singer either, very dull and lifeless voice, no range, never should of sung any leads, should of just been Tash and Liz, they were the talent.
