Who CARES if boys in real life don't accessorize when we're playing a game world with infinite possibilities that can fix that? He's supposed to be the main character and look like it. I'm just weirded out by how much the female MC stands out instead of the male MC because it gives favoritism to me, and that's not good. There's a reason the Trailblazer twins are popular and praised more than Genshin's twins: they're balanced, both look cool and they're both used in trailers and promotions more equally. Meanwhile Wise looks disproportionate to his sister and not in a good yingyang way, he just looks really bland to me. I hope this blatant favouritism in character design doesn't also effect his screentime in the future at all cuz that'd be even worse.

@@aureliaavalon I havent seen the trailblazers being praised much more than the twins on their outfits though. Where are you getting that info from? Because if it's just a few comments you've seen of some people online prefering trailblazers outfits that's not that big of a deal. Everyone has different opinions especially with fashion! To me both of the genshin twins have very detailed designs with parts of the designs on both of them being significant to the lore and they're both nicely accessoried and flashy but not too flashy. And for genshin the reason why they always market aether as the traveler in official videos is for easier digestion of the story because the situation with the twins is integral to the plot with one of them being an atagonist and all so that consistency in showing Aether as traveler and Lumine as abyss sibling is easier for them for story-telling. Whereas for starrail the story is very different from Genshin which is why they're about to easily advertise both trailblazers as the mc without confusion. Although I do think there are some good ways that they could show both aether and lumine as the traveler and vice versa but that's a whole other conversation and doesn't have anything to do with their outfit designs

Would pick male MC all the way since spiritually I relate to them a lot and Wise is no exception, he is even more a convincing choice too. I do wish he had some accesories like Belle does which would tie them in more as a duo, a sibling duo at that. Like in that one official art of him, Wise had a simple red earring on his ear. It changes his whole vibe and honestly ties him in a lot more to Belle while just honestly making him a little more appealing.
