Somebody has to talk about Bengals Greg Cook. He was the first rookie qb in franchise history and was the consensus best rookie in 1969. 4x Super Bowl champion Bill Walsh said Greg Cook was the best talent he’d ever seen play football. He started the 1969 season and balled out week 1. Week 2, he tore his rotator cuff in his throwing shoulder, AND PLAYED THE REST OF THE SEASON, IN 1969! He was easily the best rookie qb and had his injury not gotten to him next season, we might have win the big game.

Daniels also has a chance to be the first rookie QB to both play and possibly win the Superbowl. Stats wise they're similar, but playing style Daniels is far better

To be fair to Nix, he wasn't the only reason they got anywhere. As brandon said, 6 people went to the championship as a rookie. Daniels is the only one without a top 3 defense. Broncos are in the other 5 rookies position. With an extremely strong defense. And they didn't have playoff success. You know who else bran didn't include? Joe Flacco. Who was one of the 6 in the championship game. Again with a top defense. No dissing Bo. He had a hell of a season and got the luck of the seeding to play Buffalo but I kind of agree not giving him one if he didnt include Flacco.

Wow man, before I could even watch I see that Ben didn't even make this list? Horrible man. He beat both the undefeated Eagles AND Patriots halfway through the season in back. To back games, won 13 straight games and his first loss was in the AFC championship game to the eventual SB champions. You can say his numbers aren't great all you want but that wasn't Pittsburghs game plan but I watched the whole season and when given the chance or the game was on the line, Ben delivered. Very disappointed he isn't on this list
