what i think is that Griffith is the Hawk of Darkness and Light the Moon Boy is the Hawk of Light (he is a part of Griffith) and Guts is the God Killer Fenrir from Norse mythology the prophesied beast of darkness (ring a bell?) to ascend from the depths of hel (norse underworld spelt with one L) to devour the Hawk of Light and Darkness whole hence bringing Ragnarok the end of both the material and the astral world as we know it. this makes the most sense to me not to mention it makes the story truly unique where the "Villain" of the story is the prophesied messiah and savior and the "Hero" is the infact the prophesied destroyer and the one who brings destruction. most other fantasy storys usually have the Hero and main protaganist be the fortold hero and not the destroyer.

I agree about the Holy See being an instrument of the God Hand. Seems rather likely when you consider they are against elemental magic and nonthreatening astral beings but do nothing to hinder apostles. I think the whole prophecy is about Void using Griffith to tip the scales against the Elemental Kings. I expect the Hawk of Light/Hawk of Darkness aspect will be whether or not Griffith goes through with Void's plans for him. I predict that Moonlight Boy will be revealed to be an intentional vulnerability that Void created for Griffith. Maybe Griffith honestly wants Falconia to be a utopia and is unaware of what Void intends to do with it (presumably sacrifice everybody again and/or kill the Elemental Kings)

Sounds feasible, but I would trade void sacrificing everybody, to void trying to sacrifice the current GodHand. It would explain what happened to the previous GodHand, if it were explained as a failed sacrifice to some obscure end thought up by Void, the only remaining original member of the GodHand, and falls in line with Miuras statement about it all being about Void. As for what Voids ulterior motives might be, going in line with what was attempted regarding the removal of IOE from canon, my guess would be that Void seeks to become the idea of evil itself, transcending even the GodHand.

I still really like the White Berserker armor theory, even though I think it's unlikely. I think Griffith is both the Hawks of Light and Darkness, though it's apparent to us that his persona as the Hawk of Light is a shallow facade. I think it's fairly obvious that Griffith is a blatant reference to the antichrist; a great deceiver who is not what he seems to be. Berserk is littered with religious iconography and symbolism, although I personally feel like one could make the strongest case for Jungain archetypes being the predominate inspiration for the series as a whole.

I've been reading the whole Berserk manga for the first time a couple weeks ago, and I do think Griffith is both the Hawk of Light and the Hawk of Darkness. Considering what we know about the God Hand/Idea of Evil manipulating events for a thousand years to give rise to Griffith and subsequently Femto, it stands to reason they would also carve a prophecy that would not only cast Griffith as this savior character (Hawk of Light), but also throw someone else as the scapegoat for all evil (Hawk of Darkness). That said, I think there is something to be looked at for the Moonlight Boy, a human with the genetic material (potentially) of all 3 main characters: Guts, Griffith, and Caska.

I don't want to sound rude, but its quite clear in the manga that Griffith is both, the Falcon of light and the falcon of Darkness. F.e. read Revalations (3) in Volume 17 and catch the depiction of the Falcon of Darkness after the Falcon of Light cuts of Zodds horn. Also, the Holy See is hinted to be a creation of the God Hand, what the doctrine lays out is in support of their plans, hence the display of Griffith as this figure that will sway away darkness, ironically being the reason for that Darkness in the first place. From the Incarnation Ceremony to the creation of Fantasia, it is to gain total control of humanity.

I think the moonlight boy will take a huge role in berserk in the future. And you say it hasn't been officially confirmed that the moonlight boy is Griffith but really it has. Nothing is really said outright ever in berserk it's always for speculation for the reader but the narrative forces you to speculate in a certain way if that makes sense. But yes we know Guts and casca and kinda Griffith child if you think about it does live inside Griffith. And we know that the child does have essence of the Godhands power because. That is said by skull knight when he was born prematurely do to the r..e of casca by femto. So we know he has strong Astral abilities I guess. Which would explain why moonlight only shows up on a full moon because it's the only time where he becomes strong enough to takeover Griffith and be with his mother.

I remember reading somewhere that The Holy See even started to build their churches/temples or whatever upon old elemental areas of importance, further trying to stifle their connection to humans and keep them forgotten. The Godhand/ idea of evil totally created this ideology/religion to get the world ready for Griffith and further their goals. I also think Griffith knew that Caska was pregnant and raping her was an intentional part of fate for Griffith to return to the world... and that the moonlight boy may be the key to killing Griffith.

I envision a femto guts battle to be something like this. Guts and femto are about to fight. Femto manifests a schmitar like in the golden age arc fight. Guts is in the berserker armor fully sooped up and femto is in his regular god hand outfit. They begin to clash. And after a couple sword strikes they hit eachother in the head, femto shattering the head of the berserker, revealing guts' head and completely white hair, but at the same time guts hits femto in the head and knocks of the upper half of his head piece revealing completely black long silky hair. I dont really know why they would fight since guts isnt as hateful of griffith anymore, it has definetly lessened over the years. I just want this scene sometime in the future of the story. Dont have to be the endgame though just sometime in the story

I have always perffered seing the action from one chars perspective only, similar to how another Masterpiece, Samurai Jack handled it. This type of storytelling makes you more attached not only to the character but every action that goes along, because instead of jumping from one plot to another that takes place miles away, it keeps things on a consistent pace. This is why I personally liked the Black Swordsman arc the most, because we only saw things from Guts' pov, and this is why I feel less excited about the newer chapters where it keeps jumping from Guts to Griffith killing all the excitement to learn how Griffith will look and act when Guts meets him. This was a bad move in Berserk storytelling IMO.
