Ganishka is my favorite. I think he is exactly what a struggler would be like if they turned into an apostle. Almost a fusion of Guts and Griffith. His utter contempt has propelled him into (literally) the sky. His aesthetic design is so ominous, rather than simply monstrous.

He's honestly my favorite because in a way. He is like if Griffith instead of becoming Femto just earned god power yet stand his personality and dreams are still there. Now yes Ganiska went insane but honestly Griffith would too probably for having unimaginable knowledge, power of being able to give other people (Of course through behelit) to being like him (Apostle). But seeing his brutality and loyalty of other horrible people he would go insane probably.

@ well my comment about "maybe the worst thing Zodd ever did" was cloudy. It was like an ending sentence, you know. Of course we are all happy to see Guts live and save people,maybe the sacrifice is too much for Guts. But after the beach we know the sacrifice is enough. That's why we love Berserk. I can't wait to see Berserk to be a center attention and more people see this again.

In my opinion, I think The count is a sympathetic apostle for me since he really was a decent person before he became an apostle and coming back to a wife that cheated on him. But even in his apostle form, he still cared about his daughter locking her in their castle to protect her sometimes bringing her gifts and even refused to sacrifice her leading to his demise. Wyald on the other hand was my most hated apostle. From his brutal killings of people innocent or not to his disgusting graping on countless women. There is no redeeming qualities Wyald had and I was happy he died. The most sympathethic apostle to me is prolly rosine. A young abused child who believed and dreamt to be with elves.... I really had mixed feelings about her death. She bacame an apostle at such a young age and prolly died with her fight with guts. She only wanted to be with elves and with her only childhood friend. I vaguely still remember what she said after her fight with guts "I was foolish. Elves weren't really real. It was just foolish imaginations of a child" I might got that wrong since it was a long time since I've read Berserk I wish she got to meet puck a real elv.

yea im re reading the series and what makes it super crazy is that in the actual scene you cant see the goat mans weiner because its inside his wife so on my first read i thought he didnt have one and she was just rubbin up on him or something but way earlier in the arc the count gets a flash of the memory and it shows the goat without a woman on it and he has an utterly massive shlong

Apostles do not serve the god hand. "Be as you are." And "Do as you will." Are the two things the idea of evil (God) told Griffith while in the chrysalis. While causality may direct a being to serve the god hand, an apostle is not bound by it inherently. Their ability to oppose the god hand is contradictorily inherent and preordained. Therefore the presence of those in the interstice are the only ones able to affect change not preordained by causality. This is the reason the story revolves around Guts. He is one of few that has the ability to shape his own future.
