The Greek word rendered “lawlessness” conveys the idea of living in deliberate opposition to law. As used in the Bible, it suggests disregard for God’s laws. Paul shows that “the man of lawlessness” is involved with the apostasy and it does not refer to any single individual! This composite “man” represents a dangerous group of false Christians. Apostate Christians who willfully abandon the Christian congregation and become part of the “antichrist.” (1 John 2:18)

Pastor Lomacang, with all due respect, I do not agree with your assertion that GOD presents choices, and then He knows what the outcome is going to be, only after we make our choice. Isn't that limiting GOD'S Omnicsience? While GOD doesn't treat us like puppets, He allows events and circumstances, like trials, to reveal our hearts to us -- This will either bring about conviction and repentance, or in our stubborness accuse us when we stand before the judgement seat. We will see how GOD had done everything to save us, but we made our ultimate choice against Him and life eternal. He said the wheat and the tares must grow together until the time of harvest. He could uproot and separate now if he chose to, but it would uproot the precious wheat. In wisdom, GOD has ordained that when the harvest is ripe, then the angel will be directed to separate the wheat from the tares. Do you seriously think that GOD didn't know that Judas word betray JESUS, before the choice was presented to Judas? I believe, there is Divine Inspiration that supports that it was known. GOD knew before the foundation of the earth that man would fall. He put things in place with JESUS' atoning sacrifice, because He knows the end from the beginning. How is it that GOD who has given me the gift of visions and dreams, had shown me, in vision, about a man I would meet and marry, 10 years before it ever happened? GOD revealed details to me that we would be unequally yoked together, and that my husband would be cut off (die). This was revealed to me years before it ever entered my mind. I am Seventh Day Adventist and my deceased husband was also, but had back slidden. GOD knows everything, even who will be saved! He knows who are His. We make our own free choices -- Our destiny is determined by what we eventually choose, and GOD knows that. A great example is the book of Daniel and the ruling kingdoms that arose after Babylon. It was prophesied before it came to be. GOD revealed in details the characteristics of the rulers of these nations, and what they would eventualy do. In addition, GOD had foreknowledge about the twin babies (nations) that Rebecca was carrying in her womb, and the physical attributes, and characteristics, and what they would do, were all described to her, before any choices were ever made by the unborn babies. Please correct me, if I am wrong, and show where in the scripture of the Bible, or the Spirit Of Prophecy that it says our Omnicient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent GOD is limited, and only knows what will happen based on what we choose to do?
