The Whore of Babylon, who sits on seven hills (Rome) is a prophecy of the Roman Catholic Church. She is the Mother of Whores, whose daughters are the multitude of Protestant denominations that would come from her. And we see that the false doctrine of these thousands of denominations is indeed Roman-based. Look at Matthew chapter 23 and compare with Revelation 18. Jesus told the religious leaders (Jerusalem) in Matthew that upon THEM would be avenged all the righteous blood shed upon the earth. I am disappointed in this video! Mystery Babylon, just like the original Babylon, is a CITY. The scriptures make this perfectly clear. "And the woman which you saw is that GREAT CITY, which reigns over the kings of the earth." (Rev. 17:18) John was told, "I will tell you the mystery of the woman ..." (verse 7). There was only one city that reigned over the kings of the earth and therefore fit the description given to John. That was the city of Rome. The woman was seated on seven mountains. Rome is famous for its celebrated seven hills. The woman is drunken with the blood of the saints. If you are on a game show and you are asked to name a city famous for killing Christians, say "ROME" and you will be a sure winner.

The woman is the mystery, not her name. One of her mysteries is that she is a city cloaked in metaphorical symbolism as a woman. The woman metaphor is used to describe the characteristics of a city. Woman terminology was used as a metaphor for various cities throughout the Bible, especially within the writings of the old testament prophets. (once you see it, you can't unsee it) The scarlet and purple are symbolic for sin and bloodshed which the harlot city excels in as she will be the dominate executioner (mother) city during the tribulation. (Rome will not be able to hold a candle to this butcher) Here is another clue: she is the very opposite of New Jerusalem, the bride of the Lamb in Rev 21:2,9b10. She is the city that belongs to the beast kingdom carried upon its heads like a trophy wife. Since you are so much further than others in understanding I thought that this may be helpful.

Are they told to go out to war, NO, just to spread God's Verses correctly & do good while upholding pure values ​​in life.. That is the clear GOAL of the mission brought by God's People.. Persecuting 'an innocent person' not to mention killing & crucifying him will never force God to come down to earth while begging them to immediately stop the act.. On the other hand, HE The Holy One who sits on the throne only observes while judging what is hidden in the heart of every human being especially towards 'The Witnesses'.. This is supposed to happen in front of HIM after we die but there are hypocrites who think that by doing so then God will immediately come down from HIS Throne & give them that place instead of the earth that they also destroyed with their hands themselves.. Revelation 17 is the easiest chapter to interpret thanks to its detail. Mystery Babylon is the Catholic Church. A woman in prophecy is the church, so a prostitute is a false church, Made up of many people/nations/ tongues (international church), Sits on seven hills (Rome), Dressed in scarlet (cardinals) and purple (bishops), Decked in gold, precious stones and pearls (papal tiara and vestments), Gold cup in her hand (eucharist chalice), Colludes with kings and world leaders, Great city that rules over the earth (Vatican). The beast is on the eighth hill, which is of the seven, meaning also Roman - Vatican hill. Daniel wrote in chapter 7 verses 8, 20 & 24 that exactly three of the ten kingdoms that arose from Rome would fall before the Antichrist came to power. The third kingdom to fall was the Vandal Kingdom in 534. The fourth was the Ostrogoth Kingdom in 554. The pope received political power in Rome when the Kings of Italy (7th king in Revelation 17) left the city in 538. The Bible says the Antichrist would be the type of eighth king to rule in Rome, a prophecy the papacy fulfilled in 538. The papacy held temporal power for 1,260 years (538-1798), which is the length of the Great Tribulation under Daniel's day-year principle (one day in prophecy equals one year in its fulfillment). There is no future Antichrist, but there is a present Antichrist. And his followers' names are not written in the Book of Life.

Following the chapters that reflect the fall of Jerusalem, the Book of Revelation records a long lament, plainly modeled on the dirge uttered for the first fall of Jerusalem in the 6th century BC. A woman is depicted; one who 'sits as a queen', & says, 'I am no widow', but her humiliation & desolation are to follow. She clearly stands for the city of Jerusalem, & one of the purposes of the lament is to mourn the fall of the city. But as always, there are double meanings. The woman was not simply a symbol of the city, but a real woman who really was a queen of Jerusalem and who was destined for a personal fall. She is Bernice, the sister of Agrippa II, & one who acted as his consort. Her appearance in Rev. 17, in Ephesus is as 'the woman clothed in scarlet & purple', who was 'sitting on the scarlet beast'. She had taken the position vacated by Helena as the incarnation of Diana of the Ephesians, & was claiming to be a cardinal & a bishop. On the badge on her forehead she wore several letters indicating her rank, as priests did, & she wore also an emblem of the emperor Vitellius, who had become 'Babylon the Great' by accepting her hospitality in Rome. For a short time early in 70AD Bernice's faction in Ephesus planned to use her relationship with Titus to make her queen regnant & oust her brother. This is seen from the passage in Revelation about the 'mystery of the woman', which indicates the language of an oracle to speak of the current leadership struggles. After Bernice was sent away from Rome, she & Agrippa lived quietly among Diaspora Jews, making Ephesus their main center. Bernice continued there as the 'Mother', the 'Sarah' to Gentiles. For Christians, however, she was the 'Mother of Harlots', a woman who combined a claim to priesthood with sexual license and led other women into the same error.
