I like this theory, and my prefiction is that the final final boss of the game will be the thing that the narrorator lost to, and the reason they need to train stronger golem agents. At first you will be too weak to defeate it, but as you train more golem agents, eventually one will break the cycle and finish the game. A tiny bit like the heart from slay the spire

Nice video! A few comments: Since the Soul of the Machine dialogue is framed as being from Indigo’s perspective, I wonder why Indigo would have beef with Ira if Ira is the creator of the GOLEM program. Perhaps Indigo is old enough to have experienced the previous GOLEM incident (perhaps that is why they have a unique swap inhibitor system and the ability to reject the GOLEM agent…) I can’t remember where this is said, but I am very certain that the narrator is stated to be one of the hubworld denizens who is “secretly harboring the GOLEM agent”. An interesting fact that not many people know is that it is possible to goad the narrator into crashing the game during the intro tutorial by refusing to swap out of the deadlift in the CLOSE CALL tutorial. This seems to imply that it is possible to create multiple instances of the GOLEM agent. If your theory is correct, perhaps the difficulty modifiers could play into the story structure you theorized, as more restrictions would lead to a more efficient agent. Fighting against an enemy GOLEM agent that might have GOLEM upgrades sounds like an interesting fight. Overall, I love the theory! I still think that the narrator just being named Ira is the simplest explanation, but it is nice to see an alternative interpretation with actual evidence backing it.

Thats why the enemy GOLEM boss will be called the "VRAM".

Interesting piece of evidence I feel like you missed; the “someone who does not balk at using their allies as pawns” definitely seems like a Golem Agent thing to do. Though I do wonder what the “desperate enough to use you” means in that context?

your gameplay was too good. My adhd brain kept having to rewatch parts cause I kept getting distracted at cool plays. Idk how to solve this besides me getting medication. perhaps more visuals on screen relating to what you're talking about to keep the viewer on topic? if it helps, some parts I remember getting distracted: - 7:30 I was like "swapping into a low health bot is odd" then you used it to kill everything after and it was sick, then I was like wait what was he talking about again - 10:00 woa a secret - I forget if there was anything else sorry

Thank you for your feedback! I definitely felt unsure about what kinds of visuals to have in the video, so I threw in some random gameplay I recorded. I'll try to be more cognizant about this issue in future videos! Also its funny that you say the gameplay was too good because I thought it was really bad lol
