Hi. They ought to be valid when doing a wedding, but the Modesto doesn't recognize the ones from the monastery since august 2006. Get re-ordained at the link int eh description above and we'll have a record, which we'll send to headquarters in Modesto. Since you already spent money on stuff with them, you don't have to re-purchase anything unless you want to.

Hi Amy! Great videos. I have an issue though. I am ordained with both the Seattle & Modesto sites. HOWEVER, I am very disturbed at the certificates that I pay for being signed by dead people. :-( Why do they not have signatures by people who are ALIVE? If feels (common sense) that nothing is actually legitimate for us, being signed only by a dead person. If you guys want to have the historical signatures on the certificates, for memorial sakes, that is fine. But, I personally feel VERY strongly that the certificates should ALSO have a proper LIVE signature, so that they are legitimate. (As legitimate as possible anyway.)

I'm only asking because I applied for an ordination at ulchq.com less than an hour ago and then I saw that there were tons of websites calling themselves Universal Life Church, including that one. Will they see me as an ordained minister or would I have to apply with them too, if I wanted to be with them?

Good question!!! I say, go to the church you are interested in and ask them. I was personally asked to start saying mass at a church, after she found out that I am ordained. But, IM a not a Christian, so I declined. So, it seems possible!!!

i had my self-ordained by the ulc monastery only two days ago i haven't proceeded with payment yet. i live in the UK i am on the understanding that would be able to perform marriages here in the UK... if this is not the case i will renounce my ordination. and if you are the real ulc. have you got the link to be ordained and if you are a recognised religion here in the UK.

I E-mailed Andre Hensley about the Universal Life Church Monastery and we never talked about the Universal Life Church Seminary. Andre Hensley said to me in an E-Mail: "Michael J. Cauley is NOT affiliated with our church. Back in 2007 a minister of the The Monastery in Seattle WA was ruled that a marriage was invalid because the Monastery was not a legal church in PA. That is what Cauley refers to. In 2008 the ACLU took 3 cases to the PA courts to clarify whether ministers of our church are valid. We won all 3 cases." Is this what you are talking about also?

Wow thank you for clearing that up for everyone. I do have a problem/question . I was ordained about 10 years ago, and took on the ministry of exorcism. Everything was going great, except now I have a demon living in my body and he will not leave. I have tried everything to make him to leave, but he does not want to go. What should I do ? Do you think you can take the demon out of my body and maybe put it in your body ?

Murphy, as a Christian, you can not have a demon possess you. A demon can not control you. You do have free choice and choose to do what you do or do not do. First question, what did you get ordained in? Next, are you a born again Christian? And, do you understand Satan is only able to enter what is his? And last, why would you ask for someone to take a demon into them? In my opinion, if you are or are getting ordained in ministry, you should know your Bible thoroughly. If you are a Christian, you need to know who you are in Christ. Know who your Daddy is. In Christ, we have power through the blood of Jesus. We need the Holy Spirit in us. You are filled with the Holy Spirit or with Satan, can't have both. You can only have one Master. Good luck with your learning. I will pray for you salvation and you cleansing. In Christ, Michael C.

01. You keep wearing the robe & stole, you look good in it, and gives you a professional air. IMHO 02. I have ran across a few so-called ministries that, after the call themselves "accredited", I have asked for proof, their web site link, etc...and they run...every time.... As a ULC Ordained member I am PROUD of my LEGAL standing in the WV-OH-IN area. If anyone has a doubt about where to register for your Ordination, listen to Amy and avoid any heartache & hassle. The only one that is truly legit is the one in Modesto, but bare in mind they have some really nasty members, who if you do not share and agree with their at time unorthodox and strange views and opinions you will be attacked and blocked from their community pages

Correct. The guy in FL has nothing to do with the Universal Life Church in any way. I steer clear of him in all ways and I field many complaint emails and phone calls about his behavior.

It is "non-denominational". You can be Christian or not. The courses are basically Christian based, but you do not have to be a Christian to be ordained. You can have your own beliefs and not follow anything Christian.

Zimmerman died, but it was his 'best friend' that 'helped himself to' the monastery before he died. The monastery makes at least $30k a MONTH. Probably more. That's how much was made when zimmerman was running the site and I'm sure it has increased, so I'm not sure who he is throwing stones at. I just finished doing my taxes for the church and everything was spent on paying for product and support help. I don't get a salary. Technically, yes, it's for profit, but I don't make any.

See the problem with this is that The Monastery is claiming you all are deceptive and doing illegal practices. You all claim The Monastery are the ones doing wrong. It's one of those, who to believe, which is right. Which one to go with, etc.

This church is crazy! I go to their church and find out its a business office. I can say 'They sell minister and Ph.D without creditential. They help you become minister and in charge wedding, funeral, and baptism, by "DIY.' So far, I don't see them do any crime, only sell service and produce.Its fun, DIY become minister. Anyone can in charge wedding, funeral, pray and bless others, without charge any fees. So far, I don't see any different with a formal trained clergy.

Teaching Tae kwon do at Wyoming terrace community center in Albuquerque New Mexico. Received 2nd Dan kenpo from Paul Bretz formly from Traco but changed to Jat T Will. Will had trouble with the law so Bretz went solo after that. Recieved 3rd 4rth and 5th degree in Tae kwon do ITF style. I like kenpo, tae kwon easer to teach because less to learn.. Kenp take more time to learn..
