Who is The Toymaker (Doctor Who's Biggest Mysteries)

With the finale to Doctor Who's 60th Anniversary right round the corner, I felt it right to go back in time to 1966 to explain one of the Doctor's oldest foes. An entity which looks to be coming back... but why?

"Now rebranded" he was always just the Toymaker, even in the original story that's what the characters referred to him as, and in Can You Hear Me? which namedropped him he was just called the Toymaker

Really wanna ask you this, after this episode for me it definitely feels like a new era. I agreed with you when it was announced that they would be separating from 2005-2022 DW that it felt unnecessary but after this I completely get it. As your opinion changed on it or do you feel the same about the whole separation? Love the channel as well and can’t wait to see it grow ❤

It's always been a frustration of mine that Who brought back Jacqueline Hill...but not as Barbara...and Michael Gough, but not as The Celestial Toymaker. Or like The Brig appearing on SJA, but not post-2005 Who (go to hell Death in Heaven). I mean...they were _right there_ !!

@@tokublwhovian thats debatable personally I think that only the 7th, 8th and war doctor audios are cannon (as the 8th doctor's audio companions are mentioned in night of the doctor and war doesn't have that many stories to begin with so all we got to go off are expanded media and 7 as long as they fit between the gap between the end of classic who and the tv movie thats fine) 6th it depends i haven't listened to the audios I honestly may never do but eh thats what I think about them
