Who is the White Wolf? (Marvel)

Looking back at it now, I honestly find this to be a waste of a potentially good character in the MCU, as he would've been ideal to be the main antagonist of black panther 2

IT would be so ham fisted. The comic run is good, it doesnt feel like some forced social commentary even though its clearly social commentary. Thats the way it should be done, trick me into not realizing its social commentary. Today, thats impossible since the writers literally are drooling over themselves to let you know its social commentary, and it never works today

They used White Wolf’s backstory for Killmonger in the MCU. Then spun back and gave the title to Bucky.

Given how much of the MCU BP is based on the Christopher Priest 90s run he originated from, I really found it a waste of potential by just having it be a name they gave Bucky. It wasn’t just a name, it was a role created specifically for Hunter by T’Chaka. For all it’s shortcomings, Avengers Assemble: Black Panther’s Quest did a better adaptation that cut out the more two-dimensional parts of the character and gave more depth to his relationship with his adopted siblings.

Throw all that out the window my guy. Current disney marvel is dead set on annhialating anything you love. I also rewatched BP a few times, it aint as good as i thought. Even then it was hardly about t'challa . The second half is actually hard to sit through today and its so sadh chadwick died, hes a great actor. But that movie is entirley over rated due to his death. Also the current wakanda book and BP book marvel is vomiting out, is abysmal. Wtf is disney doing to marvel its like they have chickens with no heads running the show

I 100% disagree with you on that point about the MCU Bucky being a white wolf. The white wolf character only works because he is the older brother of King T'CHALLA and the both was raised by the same mother. He could still be a good antagonist.But he should never be a villain to King T'CHALLA
