Fun fact: PlaceFace was the Place holder of the characters during the development of the game, that's why Baldi says "This is where it all began" for a split second before getting teleported. If you go into the game files, you can mod the game to put in Placeface who wanders around in the game, That's why you saw him in some mods like the Trolling Mod.

The boots simply just stop you from being push by Gotta Sweep, 1st Prize, and Mrs. Pomp when used. When they go over your screen a second time, it means they are no longer in effect. (Keep in mind that Mrs. Pomp won’t give up trying to take you to her class and will keep on coming back to you).

He takes his job very seriously and just tries to keep things under control. BUT THEN: We've got Baldi, a math teacher who gets upset if you don't get an impossible ecuation right, a bully who won't get outta your way for any reason except if you give him something, A BROOM WHO'S REALLY LOUD and can either save you or end your run, a sock puppet that you THINK won't be a problem until the very end of your run in which they can literally teleport you to said upset math teacher- and a little girl with a jumprope who won't let you progress any further until you've jumped 5 times. ...and 1st Prize who just wants to hug people, his intentions are wholesome but can still end in the disaster that is "being pushed right into Baldi". *i love this game so much, man.*

In case u don't know what the big ol boots even do they prevent all characters and treadmills from affecting your movement such as 1st prize, gotta sweep, cloudy coppter and Mrs pomp when she drags you to her class if you dont show up in time but only those characters specifically and factalty name tag prevents any character from interacting with you not including baldi, 1st prize and the test probably becuase 1st prize and the test are robots and you were not wearing the name tag before baldi chased you which makes sense anyway I'd rank both of those items one tier higher then what you put them at keyin.

In Alarm Clock, due to the update of BB+ and BBCR (CR - Classic Remastered), you can now set the timer by clicking on it after placing it down. To confirm the setting, just leave it on your desired setting. It can be set in a sequence of 15, 30, 45, and 60 seconds. When time reaches 0, the arrow will point at 60 and Baldi will go to where the Alarm Clock is. Note that if you place the Alarm Clock in the classic version of Baldi's Basics. The timer cannot be set and default time is 40 seconds.

Big Ol' Boots Usage When right-clicking with this item selected, the boots will slowly wave over the screen from top to bottom. This ability runs out after 60 seconds, where the boots are then shown waving from the bottom back to the top. While Big Ol' Boots is in effect, the player can move freely in some occasions: Gotta Sweep and 1st Prize will pass through the player, so they will not collide with both said characters. The player can move at normal speed on conveyor belts regardless of the direction. The player is not affected by Cloudy Copter's wind. Whirlpools will not pull the player. Grappling Hosts will not pull the player in the direction it was shot. The player will not be dragged around by Mrs. Pomp for being late at her class. The player will not be able to ride merry-go-rounds. However, even when its ability is still in effect, walking on stationary Gotta Sweep still slows the player down being.

I would rank him B because I kinda like that character, but all he really does is slowly materialises himself in a classroom and once he gets solid, he just fly fast in the classroom and traps the player in the classroom so he can't escape and it's really annoying and dangerous when Baldi is in that same room...
