Idk whether anyone else has pointed this out, but the Mahjong hand (the tile game they are playing) that's revealed before Gojo is sealed is the 13 dragons, arguably the best hand and one that takes a lot of luck and preparation to have. Symbolic for the kinda work put into this whole plan by the curses

Mahito said he wanted to release some humans into a forest and hunt them, and Jogo said he wanted to burn the forest down with the humans inside. What happened with Gojo's domain was he triggered the domain for 2 tenths of a second, so he basically used it like an EMP pulse. Then he turned it off immediately, and that resulted in the humans all getting stunned on their feet. Gojo didn't know how long the special grades would be paralyzed, special grades are NO JOKE even to Gojo, and because they're special grade and mixed into the crowd he can't just one tap them. Look at how much power he had to dump into killing just Hanami, that's the most effort we've seen him use so far. So he prioritized killing the thousand transfigured humans instead, which took just under 5 minutes. The reason the humans started avoiding Gojo, is because they have pattern recognition. They can't see the spirits or techniques, but they can see that people just randomly die around Gojo, so naturally, they avoid Gojo. They wouldn't think HE'S the one doing it I don't think. And they cannot just leave because there's a VEIL that's trapping them inside, and Hanami put some roots in front of the only exits as well, and since those roots are not reliant on Hanami's cursed technique to exist, IE they're real roots created with cursed energy, they don't disappear when Hanami dies. So the humans are TRAPPED there, that was a key factor in limiting Gojo. And the mystery is finally solved.... Eh, mostly. We know most of what's going on with Geto now, he's not Geto, he's Pseudo Geto. The real Geto was injured by Yuta and finished off by Gojo in JJK0 as we saw. However, Gojo couldn't bring himself to have his best friend's body get "disposed of". I assume that's a messy process. Whatever it is, Gojo just wanted to give his friend a respectful burial. That was the wrong decision, because whatever this brain guy is, he can hop from one body to another, so he stole Geto's body and took control of it. And giving something that can do that access to Curse Manipulation, which is a technique as versatile as Curses themselves, is a VERY bad thing probably, cause he seems PRETTY damn evil.

In the Geto vs Yuta fight Geto wasn't going full strenght for some reasons: 1-Geto divided his curses to fight sorcerers in Tokyo and Kyoto, so he didn't use all his curses in Yuta 2-Even if he did wanted to kill Yuta in order to absorb Rika we all know that Geto's goal is to protect sorcerers so killing one student was hard for him And there are other reasons but you will get them later 😅

The author will answer the question “Are you the strongest because you are Satoru Gojo? Or Are you Satoru Gojo because you are the strongest?” Later in the show, and that’s interesting because we know Satoru is really strong and we saw his younger self struggles with the Red and the Reverse curse technique and after his fight with Toji and almost die, he understood both techniques and use them without trouble. We could say he’s just strong because of the infinity and the six eyes but I think he is strong because he learned to use them to his perfection because he’s a genius in battle. Now I love how Gege, the author, gave us Gojo’s backstory before this so we knows how Geto called him by his first name, something fake Geto never did until now, and how close they were before he turned evil. It’s a great way to emphasize with Satoru’s feelings and his surprise to see his best friend’s body being used like that.

What type of curse it is depends on what those negative emotions are directed towards from. Jogo from fear of volcanoes, Dagon from oceans, etc. Mahito is those emotions towards other humans. The nature of mahito and every other curse spirit is the exact same, what’s different is what it’s directed towards and how much of those negativity/ce is generated. In his case it’s directed towards humans and that’s what mahito is made up of, ONLY the negative aspects of humanity

*MAJOR MANGA SPOILERS* After the end of the manga, I can't help but feel disappointed not just by Shibuya as a whole, but *particularly* Geto and Kenjaku. Geto's incredibly interesting dynamic with Gojo getting thrown out the window for Kenjaku was already kind of weird to me, but it could have worked as a tragedy if Gojo and Geto's relationship was highlighted more in that way. But after seeing what Kenjaku's story has amounted to it's almost unforgivable. He was immensely important for Yuji, but him being killed off so easily that everyone though it was a misdirect and all of his plans amounting to nothing makes his character feel like a waste of potential, particularly because he stole that potential from Geto. It doesn't help that Gege teased a Kenjaku-lookalike being with Takaba in the second-to-last chapter and it once again amounted to nothing.

Like Brain-kun said, copying without any conditions and unlimited cursed energy were just the effects of Rika's soul being bound to him through the pact he unknowingly made when he was a kid, after that he still has those abilities but he needs body parts to copy techniques and he can only access to "Rika's" full output for five minutes.

it's simply down to the fact that kenny doesn't know. he's looking at yuta through geto's memories, but geto only saw the technique and not the conditions needed to meet them (and it's not like gojo's gonna correct him). the conditions also aren't as obvious to other people as say todos technique that requires a clap (in chapter 179, ishigori sees the condition be filled, yet he originally only thinks that yuta did so to debilitate uro, and in 180, ishigori was still figuring out when he was able to copy it) so since it was "geto" saying its condition-less and not the narrator, it's just that he doesn't know there's any conditions to be met
