Who is ThunderCats' Lion-O? All Thunderian Strengths in One.

This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the ThunderCats animated series and Wildstorm / DC Comics character "Lion-O." From being the heir to the throne of Thundera since he is the son of Lord Claudus, traveling to Third Earth alongside other Thunderian nobility when their planet Thundera was about to be destroyed, a malfunctioning suspension capsule causing him to age from twelve to twenty-four during their long space journey, learning to temper his impulsive demeanor through the guidance of Panthro and Tygra as well as the mystical "Jaga the Wise", officially becoming the powerful and noble Lord of the ThunderCats after completing the Anointment Trials, growing in proficiency with using his magically imbued Sword of Omens and gauntlet Claw Shield, crossover comic events with superheroes like Superman and He-Man, to countless battles against his nemesis Mumm-Ra and the rogue mutants even after returning to New Thundera; Let's take a look at this iconic animated feline superhero, and the powerful leader of the ThunderCats. I miss the ThuderCats 2011 cartoon. It was beyond awesome. The thing I really enjoyed about it was seeing Lion-O fall down and get back up again as he learned from his journey and grew into a leader. Of course, some genius decided that it would be a good idea to make ThunderCats Roar instead of finishing the 2011 cartoon. Whatever. I'm not bitter. (Yes I am.)

@@falconole8633 You should. It aired on Cartoon Network on Saturdays as a part of the Toonami block, and it had an anime-like art style. The story was a bit more straight to the point than the original, even with the side adventures and monster/villain of the week stuff. It ended on a cliffhanger if memory serves because action cartoons were still getting the shaft back then. Hell, they still kind of are now. It's pure bullshit plain and simple.

You'll forget the thundercubs part 1 episode when Mumm-ra went to new thundera and Lion-o & pantro paid him a visit and he wasn't there the ancient spirits statues tried to crush them but did catch pantro but wide up getting pinned lucky for him and the last one was landing towards pantro and Lion-o caught the ancient spirits of evil statue in mid air.

I like the 2011 Thundercats version of Liono because not only did I grow up with him but also he has more character and personality. In the 2011 series Liono was a young scientist interested in technology and he was competing with his brother for their father's approval. He was childish and insecure and would always get knocked but always get back up.

Not really all traits. He has traits that beat the others. Panthro's strength was defeated by Lion-O's compassion, Cheetara's speed was beaten by his stamina and refusal to quit. The Kittens cunning was outsmarted by his charisma. Tygra tried to use mind games, Lion-O has great judgment and learns from experience. And then we have the Trial of Evil which is pretty self explanatory.

Now, I love the Thundercats as much as anyone. I'm old enough to have watched the series when it was new. But please explain what, "Low to medium, vast superhuman strength" means exactly. None of those adjectives make any sense used together. Unless you're describing Lion O's strength levels as a child, young adult, and mature adult.

Yeah. I realized that this was a bit convoluted. 😅👍🏼 If someone has any abnormal strength, I tend to say either low-level, moderate, or vast superhuman strength. For Lion-O I said that he has "moderate to low-level vast" strength. Basically, implying that he has moderate (mid-tier) strength levels of maybe 40-60 tons. But depending on the writing or storyline, he may occasionally be shown lifting slightly more; Approaching "vast" levels... Which tend to be characters that can lift 100-plus tons. 🤓👍🏼 But, honestly, I may have over-complicated that one! 😅

Needed more specifics on powers.how fast? How strong? In the vs Heman comic at one point he told his sword to give him power beyond power and fought with equal strengrh to Heman. His endurance and recovery from injury also need brought up given how much electricity hes been hit with and fought through and how fast hes recovered from stabs in the past. Just some comparatives to gauage him is all I suggest adding.
