My two major critiques of Arnade: 1. How do you criticize a system where "the rich make mistakes but the poor go to jail" AND support the war on drugs which perpetuates this injustice? 2. While I think he is more realistic about human nature and its frailties than Caplan, Caplan is largely (though not entirely) correct that following certain behavioral guidelines can make the difference between middle class existence and poverty/addiction/jail.

While each panelist brings up interesting points, Chris Arnade is actually a socialist-- although apparently, with populist views and unusually insightful-- while Bryan Caplan is an anarcho-capitalist who supports open borders.
