its just one of the biggest plot holes in this show, one of the many in this arc. Over9000 shadow clones each has insane power, stamina and not blowing up from a single scratch like in first season. Plus chakra should divide equally on each clone, that mean Naruto without using this jutsu should has like ten tails amount of chakra.

@@devonm042690 It's literally filler. The word isn't some anime term, it's because the episodes were literally made to fill time while the manga got far enough ahead to resume animating it. Filler doesn't mean "has no value" it means "was written to fill time". Yes, in the source material filler has a slightly different connotation. Because the content never ends up meaning anything it is considered filler because it filled time for nothing. You can call it anime canon if you like, that's totally fine, but the word filler doesn't inherently mean "non canon and has no value".

I think Ron forgets that all the way back in OG Naruto, freaking Kid Naruto (who at the time wasn't very good at transformation jutsu) was able to tie up Sasuke and transform himself not only to look identical to him but sound identical to him. Then did the same when he transformed into Akamaru and a freaking Shuriken as a GENIN child. Yamato did the same with Sasori. To an insanely powerful and XP'd shinobi like Tobi, it's easier than drinking water. For all we know he even transformed his face when he revealed himself to Kisame. Tbh, he doesn't even need the mask when he can transform into anyone which is pretty standard ninja practice.

Fyi, last episode Madara was using the Deva Path Rinnegan ability (Pain's ability) to pull a meteor out of space, but he may have either summoned it fully or basically collected chunks of spacerock like for Planetary Devastation. I think its the former. Tengai Shinsei "Shattered Heaven" is a jutsu that requires both the Rinnegan (it doesn't summon but rather attracts meteors from the atmosphere) and the Mangekyou while weaving three hand-seals simultaneously (using 2 susanoo clones)

To answer your question about Kisame seeing Tobi's face the 3tail Jinchuuriki was the 4th Mizukage of the Hidden Mist Village and Tobi was controlling him with Genjutsu from the shadows. Kisame knew this and considered him the TRUE mizukage. When Tobi takes off the mask and shows him Kisame see's his face and recognized him as the man that was running his village from the shadows.

I know when this video released on youtube, you guys might be already watch lot of episodes ahead, but just a quick note. There are two fillers that extend/tell the story of jinchuuriki, which is one was after Hidan kakuzu arc, focussing on 3 tails, and another one was on 6th tailed arc right bfr Pain Invasion Arc. Its not that important but the anime just need lot of fillers to give the manga sometime to breath and have a gap to be adapted. And only those 2 Jinchuuriki got a filler arc/side story aside from our MC Naruto, Gaara and Killer Bee.

Fillers are non Manga episodes. Fillers have little to zero effect on the main plot line of the story. iE: filler before Sasukes fight with Naruto at the hospital. Sasuke, on his hospital bed, remembers being electrocuted in a filler. It adds very little but doesn’t change anything. Utakata’s filler is somewhat the same the plot doesn’t move forward at all. It’s world building and ignores all if not most of the settled plot lines. Usually has inconsequential and mid dialogue. Battles are usually recycled techniques and no character ever gets an upgrade or new form during a filler. Everyone stays the same for when the filler ends and the settled manga plot line resumes.

Episode 324 is mixed filler that's why you're seeing things you don't understand. You're supposed to skip that part because it's filler. I recommend you keep the filler list up at all times and make sure before you watch a new episode if it's mixed filler just like when you check to skip actual full episode fillers. That filler arc they showed from was one of the few Jinkuriki storylines that the anime filled out. They showed the Akatsuki capturing the rest of the tailed beasts but just mostly in brief fights or interactions, but only one of them got a full animated arc. The arc itself is okay, its kinda boring but had a pretty emotional ending. Honestly you wont get much more from it than what they showed in this episode. It really proves though that its a filler arc because in the "real" story, Naruto has never met that character before, thus they never reference him as an important character outside of this fight here.
