Who is Valiant Comics' X-O Manowar? The Worthy One | "Thor" meets "Iron Man"

This video explores the abilities and origin of the Valiant Comics character named Aric of Dacia aka X-O Manowar. From being the an adept warrior who was the heir to the Visigoth throne in 402 A.D. and bravely leading his army into battle against the superior Roman Empire, mounting a small rescue party to retrieve his wife and other captives after their defeat, mistakenly infiltrating a spacecraft of The Vine alien race and being taken into deep space as laborers, successfully rising up against his captives after being deemed worthy by their revered sentient battle armor known as Shanhara, coming back to Earth and realizing that about 1,600 years had elapsed and The Vine had further entrenched themselves into positions of leadership like the British MI-6 agency, using the vast powers of his symbiotic armored suit to fend off strike teams that were sent to retrieve the armor, several run-ins with the world's most capable ninja mercenary named Ninjak, joining forces with this perceived foe to combat their common alien enemy, to allying with the Unity superhero team as they repel various villainous threats in the Valiant Universe; Let's take a look at this honorable warrior known as a popular Valiant Comics superhero, and the one deemed worthy to wield the most powerful weapon within the Valiant Universe. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic book and science fiction characters.

Underneath the metal pieces the body covering has an interesting and unique look. Makes X-O Manowar instantly recognizable in a field of multiple superheroes. Giving an ancient person instant access to modern knowledge is a thoughtful touch. I’m surprised Ninjak held his own. I always felt Aric gave off Conan vibes, but I wouldn't have thought of Thor until you pointed out his character's "Gentleman" aspect. Even Thor had principles despite how Viking-like he came across. Also, I got that Issue #0 Metallic cover on the right at 0:40 at a county fair for a dollar in my youth and it's one hell of a read.

And Marvel in their hierarchy classed Taskmaster as level 5. Kingpin and Echo are two other non-metas with no artificial weapons who have been classed as high as level 4 which makes them equal to the likes of Spider-Man, Captain America, Blade, Banshee, Electro, Daredevil, Lizard, Kraven, Deadpool, Human Torch, Black Panther, Shocker, Grey Gargoyle etc.
