Who is Valiant Comics' Eternal Warrior? There's, LITERALLY, No Stopping Him.

This video explores the abilities and origin of the Valiant Comics character named Gilad Anni-Padda aka The Eternal Warrior. From growing up as a revered warrior in the ancient Mesopotamian city of Ur, acquiring immortality and other superhuman abilities after a tragic accident involving a device known as The Boon that was safeguarded by the "Keepers of the Timeless Word" in a place called the "Far Away," his siblings Ivar aka Timewalker and Aram aka Armstrong as well as Vexana aka War-Monger also gaining immortality / superpowers after the accidental destruction of Ur, spending many centuries battling against The Null and serving at the behest of the Earth's Geomancers, eventually joining the British MI-6 and later X-O Manowar as well as the Unity superhero team, to allying with Rai to liberate the Geomancer of New Japan in the apocalyptic far future of the 41st Century while having the new moniker of the Eternal Emperor; Let's take a look at this immortal Valiant superhero and, arguably, the most unstoppable fighter within the Valiant Universe. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic book and science fiction characters.

@@respectmymind3280 Definitely, a good fight! 🤔 Although Vandal has achieved higher levels of strength over the years, Gilad (in my opinion) seems to have a more "pure" immortality; Being able to, supernaturally, reconstitute even after his body is completely annihilated. It's explained as his "spirit" having the ability to live on, and just be given another replacement body... That being said I can't quite call it?! 🤓

Exceptional commentary and description in this video Sage. Very high level how to breakdown this interesting character. Eternal young with a healing factor is an amazing ability. Many long lived comic heroes are extremely slow aging but time will eventually catch up to them, but not the Eternal Warrior.

Overall, Valiant’s a ruddy, thrice cancelled comicbook imprint. But, cannot lie. It does have some truly extraordinary characters. Gilad Anni Padda is definitely one of them. Shame the Bloodshot movie bombed, because Gilad would’ve killed it on the big screen. Maybe he might still yet get his chance, on something like Netflix.🤞

Excellent coverage on my 2nd fav. Valiant character. I did liked EW old comics where it was more episodic like you a get premise of the timeline he was in like say Ancient Rome or WW2. Then the whole story unfold after that intro taking place in present time. It was unique storytelling reflecting his past.
