Jurin is the first rapper in "Shooting Star" & 'Chill Bill'...the first verse she literally spelled out was her name if you didn't catch it...😂🤣😂; she's the leader of XG and 3rd oldest. XG is a top-tier group and paving a new X-pop genre. No other group is at their level in the industry. They dance (really dance), rap (real rap; not idol rap), and sing in Korean, Japanese, English, and also in ASL for their GRL GVNG song. They debuted 18 Mar 2022, a few months before LE SSERAFIM & NewJeans. Enjoy your trip down the XG rabbit hole. You'll going to enjoy it! 🐺ALPHAZ on deck! Thanks for the reaction to XG! Given the parts of Shooting Star you liked, you will probably like Left Right, Winter Without You, and VOX #6 which just came out which highlight the R&B side of XG. They do lean into the hip hop and dance music sides more on other tracks as well. All of the full group music (and VOXes 1, 2, and 6 and TAPE 4) are all in English. The other VOX and TAPEs have portions in Japanese (XG’s native language) or Korean.

The other Alphaz (XG’s fandom name) pretty much gave a good run down of who XG are and what the TAPEs (1,2, 3A, 3B, 4), VOXs (1 - 6), and MOVEs (1, 2, 3, 4; 1 & 3 are the same choreo, just that 1 is with masks and 3 is w/o masks) are. Something that I would add is that XG are mainly and hip hop and R&B group, but they have ventured out into sounds also. Here are some songs that I like to recommend for getting into XG: LEFT RIGHT (*a fan favorite*; R&B) HESONOO & X-GENE GRL GVNG (the MV doesn’t showcase the full song, so along with that, I would consider watching the dance practice or their ASL version) Also, just gonna throw this in here (lol), they have done a live performance of 2NE1’s I AM THE BEST at KCON LA 2023. It’s incredible to see. Their 5th single will be coming out on May 21st, although, I personally would hold this off because I want you to get a taste of each of the members’ talents in rap, vocal, and dance (if you decide to do a deep dive). The reason being is that this will be XG’s first all-rap song and the vocal line (with the exception of one vocalist) will rap for the first time, and I think you would fully appreciate the song after going through XG’s previous works. That way, you can see the growth in their talents and it would make it more significant. But of course, this is your channel, and you can decide to do what you would like. Harvey was the 2nd girl in Chill Bill and she was the one you thought looked like Becky G in Shooting Star. She is Japanese Australian. She is currently 21. Jurin is also 21. Jurin is the Leader of XG and a former Professional Snowboarder.

If it says Tape or Vox then you can possibly get all 3 languages. But all of their official releases are in English, there are 4 Japanese words in Undisputed, but that was a collab so it has some leeway… similar to Show You Can, another collab w all 3 languages

XG is Xpop a genre they created so not Kpop or Jpop, and I recommend you go back and watch the dance practices for each song they do as well, you already started with Tape 1 now when you do the rest Vox 1, Move 1 and the debut song Tippy Toes, one should always start from the beginning and work forward, that way you get a full understanding of their progression
