If you think about it. Riot sets themselves up perfectly for a future crossover with League/Valorant that's not as forced/random as the Ruination event. During Zeri's outbursts she thought she saw something or "someone". With the announcement timing and similarities of both characters and the whole Valorant idea of different dimensions it's very possible.

I like her design, I recognize the problem with champions design these last few years, but it is not like all of them are bad and Zeri even being cute doesn't seem exaggeratedly "sexy". But I do hope they start to make champions with more imaginative appearances and some more monster champs too. I really want to see monster champs that don't need to be sexy, male and females.

As far as I know the void dosen't "corrupt" it only consumes living matter, or use them as fodder for new voidborn I was answered that by a writer when I asked about Jax So theoretically Rio is fully Singed creation, he probably provoke the mutation giving Rio the void like mushrooms, Rio had to survive because he became the source of shimmer... My guess is they won't be meddling with too many more characters in the next season. The ones who have been introduced need thorough follow up on their stories, and also, I think (though I could and hope to be wrong) they will avoid characters with unconventional designs like Camille, Urgot or Zac because they might be unappealing to general audiences. In that regard even -redacted- is more likely to appear.

I really think 1 would deem her the same fate as Kalista, so not only I don't think it'll happen but I hope it doesn't. Now, 2 could be interesting, she could have a move speed boost which would allow her to build "energy" to increase damage either from her AA or an ability. It's kinda like Jhin, but instead of not being able to attack due to low atk speed + reload, she can choose not to, which is kinda like Akshan in a sense.

I know there's a lot of talk going on about the variety (or lack thereof) of champion design recently and I have to agree. They're designs and background lore/info is feeling rather "samey" as if someone is just copy+pasting the same exact design/info and changing it up JUST enough to be technically "unique" and whilst I understand, with Vex, we have about 157(?) champs and expecting each of them to be unique is a bit of a stretch. There has to be a middle ground between "Cookie Cutter" and "Totally Unique". Like for example, when's the last time we saw a "older" champ, like Zilean or Kled? When's the last time we got a uniquely creepy champ? Or even a "alien" design like with Nami who aren't "Human Passing" (IE a human with a different color palette)? The design spectrum is gravitating heavily towards a certain aesthetic and whilst there's some arguments here and there, I think we can all agree, that adding more variety, be in gameplay style/mechanics and/or even design, are usually very welcomed, if not needed for a game to be thrive.

okay so I'm not a proffesional character designer or anything but, to be honest, I'm fine with her being quircky and another "pretty anime girl" because i feel like it fits with her lightning and electricity theme. like a happy and quirky girl that's just enjoying life, uses her light hearted emotions and unique power in combination to try and protect her home. like i don't feel like this would work if it was someone who wasn't super expressive like Taliyah. After showing us how cruel and dangerous Zaun is, it's really disappointing to have another gwen/sera. I mean it did work with Gwen cause she was a doll who came to life thanks to the love of Isolde and she kinda represents that childhood innocence. For sera idk she's kinda dumb I guess, but also fits how Piltover thinks everything is fine down below. But a ZAUNITE champion being all happy uwu makes literally no sense, she should be traumatised, but where many have fallen, she persevered and managed to control her powers to finally be able to help all the people around her.

Probably because they are or atleast based or inspired of Filipinos and I'm just proud of the presentation not caring if its good or not. a girl that lives in the Piltover/Zaun region, with some abilities that were with her since birth and she couldn't quite control them, fighting for the greater good because of the state of her region, she also has a lot of fans because of what she does, with parents that have built her equipment so she can control her powers better. The big question is, did I just describe Seraphine or Zeri? Her design is also another generic cute female, this is such a joke. Having such an amazing series to come out with an incredible story to then getting a follow up like this... At least her lore doesn't sound completely ridiculous and somewhat makes sense.

I think after Arcane people are expecting tragedy and death for any character from Zaun, which seems logical to me. Zeri’s story is fine and her design is alright in a vacuum but it no longer fits the image people have of Zaun now that Arcane has happened.

I mean we´ve got so many levels in the undercity I wouldn´t be surprised that the champions of Zaun never directly meet... The chembarons are on the top, so it´s kinda expected everybody knows about them since they´re holding a large amount of power and money..

Funny thing is, Valorant just revealed Neon, a young woman with electric powers that hones them using tech, has bright pastel colored hair, same hairstyle. Makes me wonder if Neon is to be treated as a Zeri skin with alternate lore pertaining to Valorant.

Electricity in Zaun caught my attention since I though Zaun's power came form chem-tech, instead of modern sources of electricity, right? It seemed like chem-tech (and its' infrastructure) in canon lore is almost like a point of pride for Zaunites, something entirely unique to their city. From the design and info available right now on Zeri, it seems like the terms are meant to be kinda interchangeable as needed. But in terms of worldbuilding, I imagine Zaun is setup entirely to cater to chem-tech usage (like the rigging of tubes and tanks throughout the undercity, and how that's very different from modern power-lines and wiring, etc). Maybe the end-product is the same either way, like powering a lightbulb, and the 'how' doesn't really matter that much. But it seems like an entirely new chunk of lore was just added for this champion. Maybe it's just me, but it almost feels like it doesn't quite mesh with the rest of the distinct chemistry of Zaun, despite the backstory story and green-ish design and whatnot.

Recently I realized about half of roster is unplayable to me. Even though I like lore of some or their ingame kits, I just can't stand how disappointing their design is. Kai'Sa, Yone, Lilia, Viego Gwen, Rell, Akshan, Mundo, Nidalee, Neeko, Qiyana, Sett... And there we have another Lux - pretty face female champion that needs to sell at first. We could get Von Yipp... We could get Faey... There is no hope for lore as long as this is what new characters are, that they try to promote... I feel like time to quit league universe completely comes closer and closer...

After you brought up the connection of her and Spider-Man with them mentioning about the neighborhood a lot. I would be sad if they don't take the opportunity and make a spoof/parody of the usually line. "Just your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" maybe Just your Friendly Neighborhood Zaunite? Or something that goes in line with electricity or spark to fill in the blank in place of Zaunite. Even though yes the lore or the character is mediocre with lore as it being hero based, or it being nice and happy. You mentioning the Spider-Man Necrit, it just encourages me to pick her up day one, cause it's hard to hate on Spider-Man.

Couldn't she apear in Arcane S2? She Is from Zone and she is conected to electric. And when you watch teaser for S2, there are some electric efects. It could be just hex-tech but you never know. Also she fights against chembarons and they apeared in Arcane, but that could mean nothink I don't know lore that well. So if it's totally nonsence I am sorry. That electric efects in teaser just jump right in to my head while I was watching.

Electric effect in Arcane always come along with hextech, wich is, well, arcane energy. I don't find it likely that she could appear in season two. Also her design heavily focuses on the green color (even her teaser icon was a green lightning), and electricity in Arcane is always blue. If the effects in the trailer were green, i would be certain she will appear.

I like her design, it feels like for the first time Riot is making a cute girl that doesn't show skin for the only purpose of showing skin and made it very loyal to the bio they wrote, which in and of itself is pretty generic but it's not something we usually see around League. Looking forward to her release and I expect her gameplay to be interesting, at least (high chance of fast-paced shooting)

Okay I have questions or rather observations: - Zeri is very similiar to Valorants upcoming Agent 'Neon', they both have lightning abilities and have a similiar look, also this symbol 6:48 looks a bit like the runic tattoo Neon has on her arm - 8:54 this one instantly reminded me of that dark skinned woman with the flowers, idk if she has a name but I remember seeing a splash-art of her somewhere (in your videos)
