Who is Zion? | Power Book 2 Ghost Season 4 Episode 4

In Power Book 2 Ghost Season 4 Episode 3, we met a new character called Zion. The crazy character Gianni and Michael Rainey Jr spoke of in the Crew Has It Podcast. A character who also knew both Ghost and Tommy from OG Power and I always did think there would be ties back to Ghost in some shape or form, whether it be through a letter, a character or something else. Tariq is learning more about his father Ghost on Power Book 2 Ghost then he ever did back in Power. But going forward, Zion is a character who seems like he'll be a problem, but also at some stage, come up against Cane because let's not forget, Cane did blow up Roman's shipment which belongs to Zion. A fight in Power Book 2 Ghost I'm hoping doesn't just end in a straight victory for Cane, I am hoping Zion proves to be a bit more of a sterner test in Power Book 2 Ghost Season 4.

They had to kill Mecca off the show because his character was too wealthy… If he would’ve stuck around then Mecca would’ve been expected to wine & dine Monet and her kids and give them an extravagant life. Same thing with Zeke LionsGate wasn’t gonna rent out an NBA arena or pay teams for using their image & likeness to pretend like Zeke actually made it to the NBA. So they killed Zeke off too. Councilman Tate & Lauren are 2 of the most established actors on the show, but they stopped getting airtime because LionsGate didn’t wanna pay them either.

Because you have to remember when Davis told Noma “You’re not the first one to break in” in the scene when he was talking to Tariq in the car, you can see someone watching in the background in the door watching Tariq then moves away when he seen someone walking by. What if Davis knew Ghost and Zion had knew each other and Ghost playing chess in the background and Tariq don’t even know it. Think about when Ghost told Tariq: “keep thinking you smarter than me” especially when you helped Tommy that’s when Ghost started to plan his next move. After awhile you seen Ghost act out of character because Ghost was trying to set the stage of I had people coming after me and I was scared for my life. Perfect exit plan in my opinion for Ghost that’s why he never left club truth.

I think the level of intelligence of what mecca had it’s not hard to put 2 and 2 together on him knowing Tariq did it.
