Darkiplier: "I always thought that you were trapped in his games [...] Helpless, lost... *I KNOW THE FEELING!"* I feel like what Damien/Darkiplier says in AHWM is a reference to this, Damien cared about Actor Mark and was so confused and hurt when he died, but in the end it was all a set up by Actor Mark to steal literally everything from him. Damien was the only one in WKM who cared at all but he was left in the dark and used by the people whom he trusted, and Actor Mark got away with it. It's so sad.

Ever since the end of Unus Annus, when I went on my watch-all-Markiplier-project-I-missed-before-binge I have just come back to this amazing masterpiece over and over again. Feels so great, it's an amazing piece of work. I will watch all the other things as well, sure, but this one is just especially great in my opinion, because while it is still hilarious, it does just tell a coherent longer story and isn't quite as all over the place as the chose-your-own-adventure are. It's easier to just watch through because I don't need to make choices and can just sit back and watch.

@@cursedcat6467 what. that's like saying that Luke Skywalker IS Mark Hamill, and that talking about the fictional character without explicitly remarking on the actor was delusional. When he's the actor playing him, they're the same, but Luke still isn't Mark, he's just played by him. Same for Damien. A distinction that is especially significant when Mark plays three of the main and several of the side characters. Matter of fact, Mark isn't Mark either, by which I mean that the guy lying dead in a bathrobe is a character called Mark or Markiplier played by the actor who goes by Mark or Markiplier. The synchronicity of their names matters for the story, but in the end they are different individuals.
