Really random question for you guys (I blame my linguistics course and it's finals and we ad a presentation we had to give to too many people today), do you guys hear American accents and go, "Yeah, you are definitely from the US"?

@@MB-sn8xm lol -its obvious there's an accent, but can you tell where from? In Europe, there are eight, EIGHT -I would've guessed four, different accents

@@kellyerinm we can definitely tell you’re from America, the “stronger” American accents will enable us to ID the approx region (eg New York, Texas etc) but a lot of times we would just say “US” accent. Many people can’t distinguish US/Canada but parts of Canada do have certain tells (soorry, aboat/about etc)
