......I thought he might have been meaning to tow a generator so as to use it for charging when the EV is parked in isolated regions . However regarding that perpetual motion setup :- my memory is very sketchy after two weeks and I kick myself , I'm your age , but the findings of a scientist somewhere and now I remember Australian aboriginal ancestry for the scientist have been written as a novel recently released cos no publisher would want to risk their reputation to publish stuff as fact that sounds incredulous. Name of novel doesn't come to mind. What would be occurring of course if this engine device really exists would be fusion of the hydrogen to helium or something during the ignition pressures and perhaps diesel pressures even being involved . My 2015 Mazda 6 has 251,000 miles on it and the only thing I’ve ever repaired on this car is a belt tensioner. Transmission still shifts like new and I’m getting 30-33 MPG hwy. Its been a great car!

@@naveenthemachine the older engines are better than the new 10 speed turbos...the k24 4 cyls have 190 hp and the 6 cyls have the J series engine whitch is a beast producing 270 hp stock ...the 10 speeds have all those gears whitch is just more likely for the 10 speeds to have engine problems..they are relativly new

i had that problem in my 2015 toyota yaris, it would buck and eventually the engine and traction control light would go on, my mechanic, replaced a coil, the oxygen sensor, and third time it happed on cape cod, mass. they had no clue, why the engine light went on, my mechanicmade made two atempts, to fix the problem, i dumped and bought a brand new 2020 corolla le and i love it!

Toyotas with the Aisin A650E and A750F transmissions are awesome. Our family fleet includes a 2002 GS430 with 210,000, a 2003 IS300 with 280,000 miles, another 2003 IS300 with 190,000 miles, and a 2005 4 Runner with 290,000 miles. All are on original transmissions but with periodic transmission fluid changes. Long Live Toyota!

I love you content, but the true best transmission is ZF automatics (especially the 8). Basically every manufacturer uses them, they last and can take a beating. My 2012 A6 just hit 140k and the transmission feels like a tesla with how smooth it is.

I am disappointed to not see ZF transmission mentioned here. Used in millions of cars, ZF8HP is one of the smoothest and more reliable transmissions on market, from powering cars to trucks/SUVs all between domestics and imports. No doubt, Japanese transmissions are good too, but it is worth mentioning others outside of Japan.

Hard to find one in a regular vehicle they’re usually only in heavy duty trucks. The Chevy 1500s claim to have Allison transmissions, but they only have the hardware. The Allison software is included once you enter the Chevy 3500 models. The software is just as important as hardware.

Have a 2015 jeep and near 300hp 6. The 9 speed transmission has never had any issues and over 30 mpg on the highway. Actually never had any issues but a battery replacement after 6 years so far.

I have a 2017 camry 6 speed. Transmission does shift a little funny especially driving in nyc. It's constantly shifting from 1st to 4th the back to 1st. I'm not crazy about it but I heard it's extremely reliable so I'm going to stay on top of changing the atf fluid/filter and hopefully I'll never have an issue. Also mpg is pretty good getting about 25 mpg city/hw

4eat in a 05 Impreza. Doubled the power with a supercharger and it’s still going strong approaching 200k miles with just a upgraded valve body. I think ford same/or Mazda use the same one.

That's my problem with the F150 10-speed, I think mechanically they are actually pretty good. It's the software that isn't so great. It sometimes has no idea what to do with all those gears. The 6-speed I had in my previous F150 was much better in that regard.

Hey Scotty, I just got a used 2012 Yaris 5 door hatch 79,000 miles on it. Just got a new battery put in it. It starts but it takes a little longer than normal to crank. It has a good fuel pump and spark plugs as well.

If you have a direct cylinder injecting engine - just reroute the PVC system to the exhaust side just pass the cat system. Will not make the EPA happy - but the intake valves will stay cleaner😁

If newer cars had vacuum ports like they should, you could do it in your driveway. With water. Older, but modern cars with an aluminum intake manifold were easy to clean at operating temps. Get it hot on a summer day, and steam clean it.

I have a 04 Tahoe. 4l60e trans. Busted it backing up a trailer up hill. Shifted into reverse too fast. Been driving it with no reverse for 6 month now. No reverse, no converter lockup. Yes worse gas mileage. Shifts first to third. Revs at 2k 50 mph. I Try not to drive faster than 50. Pesky metal reverse gear sending itself through converter pump, valve body and filter. Oh well keep driving forward and save for another trans.

Hate to say it, but Porsche’s PDK is one hell of a transmission and that is coming from a multiple Lexus owner. That damn Porsche transmission lays down the power in that new Turbo S model like nothing else out there.

The Volvo 240 and 740 has a built-proof Auto-Transmission. In my 22 years of Volvo service, I've only replaced one, and that was due to a radiator failure allowing water into the ATF(rare). They should still be making the 240.

What’s up..,.I truly believe it depends on the day of the week of manufacturing.... I got a 2003 GM Suburban 1500 LT 240k, original 5.3 and 4speed auto, oil changes when indicated on the dash, never touched the transmission, transfer case, or differential... standard rust on the fenders and rocker panels... brake lines at 220k... front bearings at 200k...front and rear a/c still works ... 2009 Suburban LTZ 180k ... only issue was the dod/afm at 170k ...rebuilt 4+6 .... did a Diablo tune to disable afm/dod....front bearings at 170k.. front dash cracks like Scottysays.... frame creaks and moans.... when the time comes I’m looking for an 06 2500 suburban/Yukon/Sierra or a celica... there is a 1994 for sale o the front lawn of a house in Westport...hhahahaajaj 🤣🤣🤣
