Key lime is where Edwards really stands out vs. Great Value. Great Value Key lime pie tastes like glue and has the consistency of glue. But Edwards? You don't know "actual Key lime pie" until you've had Edwards.

I love eating Edward’s Chocolate, Cookies and Cream, or Turtle pies straight out of the freezer! I was impatient once and tried it that way and have never gone back 😆 It feels like a hybrid of an ice cream cake and cream pie.

Coincidentally, just today I had the individual slice of the Edwards chocolate pie and I said to myself "well, my life is complete now" lol. It was the Best pie ever!! Enjoyed y'all's video.

Edwards pumpkin creme pie is so delicious. Ive always loved Edwards pies..Marie Calendars is really good too. Never had the Great Value.

These all look good… people in my family either love or hate cream pies… mostly because they are so sweet… I enjoy cream pies too much, I eat more than I should and get a stomach ache from them… I think $6 is a great price for a whole pie… you get one slice at a restaurant for that price… and if you made your own just the pudding mix and crust would cost almost $5…

The question is whether the whip tastes good; I love a good whip, but sometimes it tastes awful (not necessarily Walmart - I just mean in general). Most of the time all the frozen pies have bad crusts! My mom used to make homemade pudding pies all the time (chocolate, vanilla, banana, others) and she would make the whipped cream herself too. No one has come close to her whipped cream, but doesn't hold me back from loving a good whipped cream (or stuffing a can of Redi-Whip!).

@ Real whip is the only good whip… No Cool Whip! 😝 Do you have any food obsessions that stem from early childhood? Reddi Wip is one of mine… I can’t be a day without it. When there’s a good sale, I could have like ten cans in my drawer.. 😳 LOL. But I agree about the crusts.. I have never eaten a good crust on a premade pie. Though pie crust to me is pretty “meh” anyway. I either go with a graham/cookie crust, or none at all. One of my sisters and I used to make pudding pies all of the time when we were in high school. (This was before we knew how to make things from scratch, so we used jello pudding mix and premade cookie crusts…) We made them vegan since my sister was one at the time, but I canceled that out on my share with the whipped cream 🤣 Your mom’s pies sound a million times better than our runny almond milk pies 😆

Yep, this ranking went just like I thought it would. Unfortunately for me, I have tried Great Value vs. Edwards side-by-side and now I can't have anything but Edwards. It's just obviously a superior pie.

Absolutely love these pie reviews 🥧, Have you done a frozen apple pie review like this one? I saw videos for individual pies or fresh pies, but not one comparing the frozen ones all together. There are probably four to six big companies I'm always trying to decide between but end up going with Marie Callendars since it's a safe choice but not necessarily better. I haven’t bought Marie Calendar items of any kind in years. I think the extra $1 for the Edward’s pie is worth it! Good to know that the Great Value is a good option for those on a tighter budget.

This is so darned dangerous! I would immediately want to do what you are doing and I would eat 3 pies. It is just wrong. LOL MC used to have single serve pies in the store; don't know if they still do. They used to be really good. There was a different chocolate pie by MC that looked better than that and tasted great. Maybe it was a French Silk or as bostongirl says below, Satin pie. None of them looked very well put together. They all looked kind of sloppy, but heaven knows I would EAT them with happiness because any chocolate pie is my tummy's friend (and enemy!). hehehehe
