The airport vehicle is a pushback tug used for pushing out and positioning aircraft. I used to operate one in real life. The have a ton of torque and can actually go fast, but they are too bouncy at higher speeds. Fun to operate though.

what if... in a race similar to what you have here.. you have a small parking lot with 'secondary' vehicles that can be accessed y people who lost a car, if they run over to the parking lot to get a second vehicle. and.. so.. can be done either everyone gets a second car.. OR.. kind of like a life pool for everyone, so if.. laddo goes through three lives quickly, he's eating from everyone's pool.. alternatively.. you could have a narrow pit lane with 5 cars queued up, so they can only be accessed one at a time, in a specific order. so, some potentially fun options for demolition games. :-)
