Quick little test you can do when you go to but a manual trans vehicle that has synchronized gears. With the clutch out, not engaged, try to put it in gear. If the blocking rings are good and not worn out it simply will not go, and will not grind. If it grinds, it usually means the synchro rings are worn and letting the teeth engage.

Does this truck have an Air Drier on it? Thats what I thought I was hearing it Sneeze every so often to remove moisture from the system. One more thing, you need to learn how to Float the gears when you shift. No clutch shifting. Theres several videos on the Tube on how its done. Sure saves on clutch adjustments and replacements. Once you figure it out on how to do it you'll wonder why you weren't taught this when you first learned how to drive a manual transmission. I'm a retired truck driver in my 70's and have been floating gears all my life. Clutchless shifting saves on your left knee and having to wear your platform shoes to drive! 😂 Love you're videos!

Like this build but have to say, very looooong ride to Daytona in that and Hannah's viking is about as bad as a bad ride gets...when I say bad I mean Killer! Truck looks awsome! With that trans and clutch set up you should only need the clutch to get going from a stop... no clutch needed while moving if you get to the right rpm. If you put the clutch down while moving you will burn up the clutch brake quick

Truck looks great! So glad to see it running and driving. Surprised not to see a buttload of comments about Hannah rubbing her belly...I am not gonna say the P word. I think she has a crazy sense of humor. So many women would be pissed to see that they got filmed doing such a thing. It's funny though. I do. 89 Corolla and 3rd gear is the only forward gear that works. No reverse either. It’s slow going but good when I get to 50. To many trips to ocean city md. We’d R slam it into reverse full throttle while traveling 70 and I’m not kidding when I tell ya it wouldn’t stall. Front tires would scream in reverse until the car stopped and started backwards. That was truly lots of fun on Hwy 50!

Looking at the shift fork it is missing an ear on the shaft side. Pushing in the throw out bearing with the ear from the other side put a lot of torque where it broke.

If that air compressor has a D- governor, it can be adjusted down as to not blow the pressure relief. It will be a small aluminum valve bolted to the side of the compressor head...b
