Who remembers the Video Library? We had two stores in Philadelphia from 1984-2014. I was the Used tape buyer, specializing in African-American Film. It's really interesting to look over those movies and pick out which ones are still widely remembered today ("The Color Purple", "Coming to America") and which ones are cheesy, obscure time capsules ("Black Mama White Mama", "The Breaks"). And I see films ranging from the 70's to the early 2000's. That wall is probably a broader and more genuine look into black American cinema than any professional history or film course. Also, Mike, your 90's sweater game was on point!
