I rewatched the interview a couple of times and to be honest... Kehlani never really acts that way in interviews at all. This is a first. Now, for the pronouns; for me I would find it very rude to just start the interview by saying their pronouns. It should roll of the tongue naturally. Just because OTHER radio places may do something that the artist found very pleasing to the ears at one point does not mean its gonna be the same for yall. It probably would’ve been more effective to just say her name, rather than a pronoun, it did come off as mockery, not saying it was your intention, but the line was unnecessary. 3. You were invasive by asking her relationship questions about 070, & insinuating she’s been intimate w/her friends Meg & SZA 4. CORRECTION: she goes by “they” OR “her”. If you care about the LGBTQ+ community, you know that “they” IS NOT “she”, it’s OR. To say “they are here” is fine- by saying “they” you acknowledge their gender non-binary identity. You’ve acknowledged them as they, but when you say “they is she” you cancel out “they”.
