You have no idea how disappointing it was watching Bill and Anthony's Rd.2 run with both black R32's with almost identical launches yet we only seen the race one time from one angle and not 1 in-car or no On-board 2nd camera angle for the viewers... awesome coverage but very disappointing.

So many races where the driver is asleep at the tree. So many races were the better car (GTR's) loses to an R8. (because of reaction) So many races were if the slower car kept through the whole race instead of "backing out" they would have won.

Fuel in the exhaust burning and possibly even a tiny bit of oil from the amount of boost pressure causing some oil "blow by" the piston rings at full throttle.

I'm no expert, but have owned several heavily boosted turbo Rotary's, 4 and 6 cylinder cars plus a supercharged V8 over 25+yrs and watched on tv/online or witnessed in person this phenomenon countless times. Some cars make a cloud when backing off and others have little to no smoke. Methanol cars often just switch off before coming to a stop, because they're able to run extremely cold at speed, with decent airflow, but don't like to sit idling for too long without heating up badly. If smoke this bad or worse happens while on boost, the turbo is usually blown or close to blowing up. I know this from personal experience.

@@antonylogan8878 it would have been far messier with the amount of boost pumped into the cooling system and something like doing a head gasket would have been mentioned. The same car does several runs and lets out lot's of smoke at the same time - exactly when they back off full throttle at the top of the track. A common time for turbo cars especially to blow a little or a lot of smoke.
