More reminiscent of the cartoon version. The costume was professional, but they've never said who the actor was who was in it. Adrianna has also collaborated with Voiceplay on Frozen 2 Medley, We're Good, Good 4 U, and Jingle Bell Rock Mean Girls. And Voiceplay was/is best. Always.

I am HEAVILY biased towards voiceplay and Geoff so this is the best grinch song, actor, script, singing, arrangement etc etc.

This is also one of VoicePlay's best works, though. Whereas e.g. the Pentatonix version of Grinch is not notable within their catalog. (I do think VoicePlay is better overall than PTX. But if you compare only their versions of this song, you'll think the gulf between them is much wider than is actually the case. For a more fair comparison, look at Bohemian Rhapsody vs Queen in 5 Minutes.)

The Grinch is voiced by Eli but they wont say who physically played him on screen. Yeah I cant hear this song anymore and not hear Geoff singing it. They also used rice to be the termites for the line "you have termites in your smile". Lastly, Cesar wasnt part of the group at this time hence why hes not in the video.

I'm a patron of VoicePlay so there's that. This was back in Nov. 2020 and J. None didn't leave for the Navy till June 2021, then we got Cesar. Geoff is a big fan of Thurl Ravenscroft who sang it in the cartoon. Boris Karloff was the narrator. You missed the end.

I love this! It evokes the nostalgia of the old classic cartoon for me. It's definitely my favorite version of this song. Geoff sounds so much like Thurl Ravenscroft when he starts this song it just takes me right back in time. ❤ Happy Holidays, guys! Get ready for those bowl games on New Years!

This was a fun "competition". Thanks for doing this. I agree with the last two places with Pentatonix in fourth and Lindsey Stirling in last. Geoff Castellucci is a fan of Thurl Ravenscroft and (my understanding) took inspiration from Thurl's version of this song which appeared in the original cartoon version. I grew up reading _How_the_Grinch_Stole_Christmas_ ; long before the cartoon version hit TV land. I appreciate that VoicePlay based their version more on the book and Thrul Ravenscroft's rendition. If one listens to Thrul Ravenscroft's "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch", one may realize some of the original verses are in the spoken words in VoicePlay's arrangement. I heard Small Town Titan's version after I heard VoicePlay. Love that arrangement as well. It is a tough call between VP and STT for first. I would place VoicePlay's version first based on the Thurl Ravenscroft version which I heard as a child.

As always VoicePlay pays homage to the original whislt making it their own. Brilliant. Adriana has appeared with VP many times now, (Frozen 2, We're Good, Good 4 You, and many shorts too) She was only 15 or 16 the first time. so still a teenager.

Best vocal arrangement, cute comedy bits, great Grinch guy/voice actor! Small Town Titans have power, but this had more. And it had Geoff. And it's pronounced Ah-ray-ah-no, or Ah-rreh-ah-noh.

I love that Geoff's a fan of Thurl Ravencroft. I love that they kept it close to the original but added their own spin. For me it a tie between Voiceplay and Small Town Titans, then PTX and then Lindsay Sterling.

I agree with Jerzey’s order. Titans (easy winner), VoicePlay (liked the different voices), Sabrina (naughty was appropriate), and bringing up rear with zero flavor was Penstatonix.

Gotta say my favorite is probably Small Town Titans. I thought the Voiceplay version was different but probably not my preference. With that being said, Geoff's vocals were fantastic in that one. The acting was cute though.

I normally agree with you guys. But on this one, I could not disagree with you more. I thought the STT version was horrible. I can't stand it when singers just get in front of a mic and start screaming. PTX is always great, but VP took the prize in my opinion. At least AJ picked VP as #1.

Watch the animated Grinch from the 60's it's awesome and this version by VP is actually more reminiscent of that program than the movie. Thurl Ravenscroft sang the Mr Grinch song and it was narrated by Boris Karloff.

So, this was my first time listening to the Lindsey, PTX, and VP versions of this song. And as much as I love Geoff. I am a metalhead and it was close but i agree with Ogre and Bootchar. VP was maybe one more deep note away from being first. But STT man first time i heard this a couple years ago i had it on repeat for well after December.

I watched the PTX one earlier. The general consensus, minus Ogre, was that though it was good, it wasn't "dark" enough. Having seen this multiple times with other reactors, prior to watching your reaction, I think y'all are gonna say similar things. We'll see. ************************** I love Tim Foust and Matt Sallee, but in re bass, Geoff has it. Unfortunately, you did what a few other reacters did. You cut off like the last 5 seconds of the video. But, with the circle closing in and going black, that's understandable. Come to think of it. a few other VP videos are like that, too. ********************************** Also also: have y'all reacted to PTX's "Over the River"?
