Erron Black didn’t shoot rain in time because of unnecessary reload timing, Mileena isn’t aware of her own people turning against her, Jax’s metal arms get hurt over Sindel stepping on them, last thing I will list but not the last stupid thing is Johnny, instead of kicking scorpion off the helicopter when scorpion’s climbing with his spear, or throwing the spear away, he instead tackles him off the helicopter.

Not hating on the MK 11 trailer's music, but this trailer was just so much better. The intro matches the stare down, combat starts the moment the beat drops, vocals start right after the first major slow-motion clip, tempo increases for both the combat and audio at the same time and slows down near the end of combat, vocals end with combat before the Fatality, and the music cuts right when Scorpion's kunai makes contact with Sub Zero's skull. The word of the day is "Pacing."

My interpretation is that Scorpion already knows he has won that fight from the very beginning. That's why his breathing is calm and confident. While Subzero breathing, as a response, is nervous and and hesitant. Also, Scorpion perfectly lands that first left knee into Subzero's rib cage, right after the announcer says "FIGHT!", confirming that this win is for him, the rest is destiny. From there, the only question is "Who's next?".

Yeah, it's cool but it's counter productive. Makes the game more difficult and random, which undermines player skill. But, I'd still like it if this "mode" was turned into a replay program made for MKX to give fans a way of making cool videos like this.

I think it could work during the actual battle. If you notice in the video it only zooms when the characters are locked in animations where they couldnt move anyway such as grabs, flinchs/damage reactions, and falling or getting up. The only camera tricks in this video I would change would be the ones where both characters aren't on screen. Other than that I feel this scene would be perfectly playable.

I know about at least a fraction of the Sub Zero and Scorpion feud that's been going on ever since MK1. Scorpion wants revenge because he believes Sub Zero and his Lin Kuei clan killed his clan and his family called the Shirai Ryu. I think Scorpion was killed during the Shirai Ryu massacre and that explains Quan Chi resurrecting him as the badass hellfire ninja we all know and love(No homo) even today. After Scorpion got used to his new resurrected form Quan Chi let Scorpion escape the neatherealm(Basically Hell) and let him fight in the MK tournament until he finally got his wish to fight Sub Zero. After Scorpion obviously wins(Because fire beats ice no matter how many ways you slice it) he kills Sub Zero by ripping his spine from his body. Little did Scorpion know he didn't kill the Sub Zero he was after, he killed Bi-Han(Sub Zero's older brother who eventually becomes Noob Saibot) Scorpion really meant to kill the younger Sub Zero(Kuai Liang) Kuai Liang eventually fills in his older brother's shoes and becomes the new Sub Zero. After he found out Scorpion was responsible for Bi-Han's death the new Sub Zero swore revenge and Sub Zero and Scorpion have been going at it ever since.

That is what caused Bi Han to become Noob Saibot. Scorpion did not even know of the younger brother until he heard "Sub-Zero" was back. That was when he found out there was a second. As for the rivalry between the two clans, I can not say what it is officially for Mortal Kombat, but in REAL LIFE, there IS somewhat of a rivalry between the Lin Kuei and the Japanese Ninja. The Lin Kuei [yes, they are a real life clan existing even to this day] are Chinese, and in real life, their fighting style was considered to be too violent. While Kung Fu teaches to fight LIKE the animals, the Lin Kuei taught to BE the animal. Meaning it is not "self defense", it is full on aggression. While the Mortal Kombat series has the Lin Kuei go by the elements; Earth, Fire, Wind and Water, the real life Lin Kuei went by its own animal system: Viper, Python, Boar, and Snow Tiger. I know there is a 5th animal, but I do not remember what it was. Snow Tiger being the final and 5th one. Being too violent, the style was banned, and the teachers did not want the art to be lost, so they traveled around to teach it in other places. A few of them ended up in [feudal] Japan, and saw the events that was going on, so they offered to teach the local farmers how to fight and defend their homes. Remember that line saying "Ninjas were so deceptive that they even disguised themselves as farmers"? The truth is they WERE farmers. The farmers were taught how to use their farming tools for fighting, how to make weapons and hide them in plain sight, how to conceal what they had, and all about stealth. "Lin Kuei", after all, does mean "Forest Demons". The reason why Ninja were considered "assassins" is because the samurai were burning villages and raping the women, so to defend themselves, the farmers used what they learned and aimed for the Japanese Generals. If you can not take on the whole army, take the head of it. So they fought off the invading ass-hats, but it was the Japanese Military who was in control of the press. So they naturally left out the part where they were destroying innocents and labeled the farmers as "assassins", painting them as the bad guys. The Japanese Ninja are the result of the teachings taught by the Lin Kuei. Which one became popular? The Ninja. The Japanese offshoot, and not the original teachers. This is why Sub-Zero and all the others from the Lin Kuei in Mortal Kombat always said with pride that they are Lin Kuei. Even in "Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero" Sub-Zero says "I am not a Ninja. I am Lin Kuei. Scorpion was a Ninja." Considering that the games' story of the Lin Kuei were mirroring what was going on in real life [they really did reform and are teaching some of our Special Forces], it is safe to say the rivalry in the game is SOMEWHERE branching from that.
