I feel like the lack of experimentation is what's really doing them in. They lose because of adding a mechanic they're not used to, like a side or a desert, and instead of deciding to try it again so they can get better at it or even just choosing a different variation of it, they write off the mechanic entirely and just take the punishment cards whenever it comes up. Vice versa, if something works well or even if it just doesn't cause them immediate or obvious problems, they stick to it like glue even if there are better options. Understandable mistakes and not really a big deal, but just interesting. It isn't that they can't learn or aren't learning, it's that they're not exploring new options to give themselves opportunities TO learn.

Lets hide the customers patience and then buy a piece of furniture that reduces patience by 30% and would make them order instantly so you can no longer stack the tables with food beforehand... These 3 truly are stupid... oO (the -patience doesn't seem to be working but still, they don't know that.)

The ordering terminal doesn't make them order instantly, it just means you can interact with it to take orders rather than interacting with individual tables, you can clearly see them continue to stack the food beforehand after buying it. While they did have absolutely no reason to even consider buying it, I assume Smith just misunderstood it's function or thought it was something else. They're just playing for fun rather than trying to min/max everything, chill out.

@@Lukeyy19 I know what it does and I don't need to "chill out" for stating that they truly are stupid - everyone knows it already. I however still had a tiny sliver of belief left though that they wouldn't actually take the time to read what it did before deciding to buy it. Key words being that they actually took the time to read it several times and then deciding to buy it. It wasn't an impulse buy like so many other things. They somehow thought all of what they had read sounded like a good idea and beneficial to them after just completing a round realizing how stupid it was to hide peoples patience. It's not about min/maxing, not about "just playing for fun". It's as they're actively doing the complete opposite of anything beneficial every single time which just boggles the mind as they seem to not do it on purpose, which should be impossible at this point.
