Equate "player-coach" CP3 with Mario Ellie, who was the toughness vet the Spurs needed in '98-'99.

Also the fact that they have Chris Paul there for on court guidance has helped significantly, maybe more so that Pop is not there.

CP3 is a player-coach now.

If CP3 sees that the team next year can contend for a title, then he may re-up for one more shot. LeBron is finished. He's hanging on b/c of pride and worldly awards and accolades, but that is a mistake.

Chris Pauls achievement highlights just how great John Stockton was.... all time assists leader and steals... will never be caught.... ALL HAIL JOHN STOCKTON

Who cares!? As long as they're doing a good job maybe it's time pop should retire
@TheMilitiaGuyАй бұрын
Pop will be retiring. PATSFO just is not providing full disclosure.
@TheMilitiaGuyАй бұрын
PATSFO needs to stop hiding the truth from its supporters. Pop is done roaming the sidelines. "Mild stroke" my ass. We cannot waste the youth development on the team with someone who has no prior HC experience in the NBA. Hire Monty Williams b/c he knows Spurs Culture and is living in San Antonio, pray for us.

We'll pray for you

I want Pop back! Idiot coach keeps playing that worthless Collins instead of Bassey/Mamu!
