Apparently, out of all the Adepti that had been alive since the archon war and even the cataclysm, no one told Ganyu that Zhongli was Morax. Honestly, I thought Xiao was on the same boat, until the chasm story and last year's Lantern rite.

I was checking today my characters and suddenly saw that Xingqiu has a new voice line. It didn't make sense to me as I already leveled up his companion XP to 10 long ago, when I went to see it I was surprised to find out that he got a line talking about Gaming. I love when they add new lines for OLD characters talking about NEW added characters. I also noticed that the majority of Genshin characters are specifically Pyro and Cryo users. Makes me wonder what is the plot behind this fact because it can't be a normal thing.

Seriously Xianyun aka Cloud Retainer is seriously the Universal "Mom" "Auntie" of Genshin. You can grumble about her like Shenhe sometimes does, but there's no way you can hate this wholesome bird-lady. She's just Too Caring Too Wholesome and "Mom-like" to take issue with. Birdlady has a Big Ol'e HEART of Gold. Facts: Shenhe taken in after her unfortunate circumstances with her family and powers. Having to help control said homicidal tendencies using LItteral Red strings (which would make for a pretty bad ass mechanic if Shenhe would go berserk at 30% HP, She'd gain an Ominous Silver Aura, Gain higher attack, movement speed, & generate ER particles on hit, than heal up by 40% of her max HP, when the strings "repair" themselves leaving poor Shenhe with a look of cute confusion, Call it the Broken Red String State or the Homicidal State which would make it lore accurate too.) Just a fun Lore based mechanic for the devs or anyone from CN to pass along to said Devs to consider. Ganyu raised when she was an adorbs. lil Ganyu without any family, esentially was more like Cloud Retainers adoptive daughter than student. Yaoyao well..who doesn't love Yaoyao, Cloud Retainer being called her "Auntie" just "Fits," TOO Perfectly. Much like how Yaoyao and Ganyu seem to have a Little sister and Big Sister relationship. Ga-Ming, Lion boy might have the most absurd name for a character but his Opinion on calling Xianyun "a reliable Elder surpassing the Adeptus" is completely wholesome and understandable. So I can agree with him there. Zhong-li well Geo Grandpa would know his old friends best. Ningguang as beautiful & elegant as she is (Which I do love about her) her personality on the other hand, the habit she has of Using & Manipulating people for the benefit of either herself, or Liyue could be a little less scummy. It's she reminds me of an old desk worker boss that would gradually increase your workloads but NOT your pay. She kinda needs to work on that a bit. But Unlike said boss, at least she's likeable.

Its US southern accent. I think they wanted to give her a country or rural feel. Also Nashville Tennessee is known in the music industry, so maybe they wanted to tie that into her character, like Hannah Montana lol. Her EN Va also voices Barbara, so maybe they wanted to make them more distinct too.

maybe, it comes and goes a bit. I think her demo and early on it was thick accent, but then dialed down a bit in the summer event? Probably hard to stay consistent when she doesnt voice the character often, and she also voices Barbara, so has to keep the voices different enough.
