Doflamingo had assets he cared about a lot and called them family but Whitebeard actually had a family that were willing to risk their lives for him and their brothers. This is proof that while Larry can often be right. He's often just as wild as Seb when Seb's trolling. How you go from saying a reasonable argument that has the caller on your side. I somehow agree with every point made. I'll add that doflomingo thought love was complete resignation. He received love in absolutes, and he gave it back by maintaining his "perfect" persona. It's ok to him if his family sacrifice themselves on his behalf because that's the best way for them to show him love. It was ok for him to sacrifice them and move on because it maintains his persona. He remains untouched and won't have to bend his knee. That's how he was taught to return the love. That's the version of love that didn't result in his family being back up on that tree. Both Doflamingo and Whitebeards versions of love got their families asses handed to them

The fact with Thatch is he had already died. Ace was still alive. WB didn't want to rush in and risk losing more sons, until Ace was sentenced to death, then it was time to do everything in his power to save him. If nobody offered to go with, WB would have gone alone.

They are both family men, true. However the difference is that the Whitebeard pirates were a real family, and the Donquixote family was a mafia family. Whitebeard protects his children and forgives them for anything except killing another member of the family. He even forgave a personal betrayal from Squard. Doffy will protect you and care for you only so long as you follow his orders and stay loyal as a dog

I feel like yall hit all the important points: 1. Whitebeard takes this cause he genuinely loved them as kids. Doffy’s family was more mafioso. I love you you’re family but if you mess up and liability, you’re expendable. Not only cause of business but he’s not as strong as WB 2. WB loved and risked it all for his kids and his strength and infamy insulated them. But the lack of accountability failed them 3. WB literally told Ace to forget about revenge for thatch cause he had a bad feeling leading to Ace and his crew dying I feel like y’all gave too much credit to WB just based off his strength and renown. Whitebeard can be criticized as a family man that was soft to a fault. But it can be questioned if doffy was ever soft and caring with his family at all. He might have just thought of ''family'' as a romanticized concept in his head rather than actually caring about any of those people. Since he's so willing to kill them whenever they don't serve his goals. It's cynical but still valid. Whereas when Whitebeard got betrayed way more directly with a sword in his chest. Which might have very well killed him in the condition he was in. He didn't disown his son or abandon him but still loved him. While alot of doffy's closest family hated him and tried to betray him. I do think Doflamingo cares about his family more then he gets credit for but saying hes anywhere near whitebeard is crazy. Donflamingo has favored possessions; whitebeard has sons he loves. Whoever says doflamingo just got manipulated into believing it just like doglamingos "family". Doflamingos entire character is about manipulation, not family, and every single person in his family is manipulated in some way or another. Doffy did in fact rape Viloa as mentioned in the SBS segments of the manga, and the only reason that scene was cut out of the anime/manga because that'd make One Piece a Seinen series, but yes Doffy feels lust more than he feels love like Luffy and Whitebeard does.

I disagree. I think when you joined doflamingo’s family/crew, you had to except his belief that his family’s goal and destiny came first and your life second. He also knew that if someone failed kaido wouldn’t take “oh, part of my crew failed’ escaped and survived”. This would bring trouble to the rest of the family. Failure wasn’t not an option once they put in with kaido.

We all saw that giant straw hat which belongs to joyboy of course… which makes the joyboy to be from giant tribe of Elbaf ((( maybe that’s what roger told shank about which made him smile to go to elbaf and wait there… otherwise why would shanks protect elbaf and more importantly giants can protect themselves why do they need protection from shanks unless shanks told them something only giants knew about which made them trust shanks…. Whitebeard's crew is not related to him by blood but Whitebeard tread them as his own family. He called Oden his brother. When Oden wants to journey with Roger Whitebeard allowed him. When Ace was about to be executed he went to Marine fold to save him. When Squadro stabbed him he just hugged him. He allowed Ace, son of Roger(His Rival) to be part of his family. When he was about to fight Blackbeard he told his family not to join him because he wants them to live on. .So the answer is so obvious that the better family man is Whitebeard. THE QUESTION IS SO STUPID. THE BETTER QUESTION TO ASK IS WHO IS BETTER FAMILYMAN KATAKURI OR WHITEBEARD?

A family man loves beyond themselves Doffy absolutely does not love past himself , if it’s between himself and anyone he’s picking himself He’d throw every member of his family into hell if it meant him getting away In contrast whitebeard would throw everything he has including his life for 1 member of his family and to top it off he dosnt force anyone to do the same but he wants them all to be willing to die for their own family member No chance doffy is a family man and chance is he comparable to whitebeard

Larry really said psycho kid doflamingo saw love and said it’s wrong🤣🤣🤣 wth. Na he loved being a celestial dragon and the status.
