Very, very few people, even people who are very deeply involved in sports, understand what a profound difference coaching makes in the success of a team. The Sarks and Days and Franklins of the world are just smart enough and smooth enough talkers to keep themselves in positions of importance but it will take a special group of players and assistants playing and coaching over the top of them if their teams are going to win an NC.

Lsu is good for one ev 4-5 years this millennium. It may be 2025 before imo we contend to win it all. This season I'll be pleased if we make the playoff. I don't see us a legit top 3 or 4 contender unless Blake Baker can get LSU defense from 108th to top 20 D. Tall task with the dline depth.

Florida fan here. DL is an absolute unit of a coach. One of the best active coaches right now. I think y’all will be a force to be reckoned with, in any conference in context. Michigan should literally be the first team on the list considering they just won their first natty in two and half decades. They are one step ahead of every other team on this list. I really like the outlook with Jadyn Davis, Carter Smith, and Brady Hart representing the future at QB. They just need to keep that defense and running game stacked and moving forward. Very few teams in CFB are built to beat teams like Michigan right now. They are all mostly built to throw the ball at will on offense and stop spread offenses on defense.

FSU is 83rd in returning production - a definite question mark. The inverse is that last year they were 1st in returning production which should have greatly allayed any concerns that --- if they dressed and competed at full strength --- could match-up with anybody. They actually put as many players into the professional ranks last year than every other team except Michigan and Washington.

Oregon! They were recruiting at an 8/10 before, while Lanning was still flipping the roster, and building his roster into what he helped build at UGA. And now Oregon is recruiting at a 9/10 and they’re taking players from LSU, Texas, Ohio State, and many other top cfb teams/brands. If Oregon wins the Big10 and has the season they’re capable of having, the momentum will be insane, and they can up their recruiting game to a 10/10 and they can build the roster into something only a couple teams have had the last 25 to 30yrs.

Where do I even begin with this. First six teams are ahead of Alabama, also they did not even crack your first or second tier?. Let’s state the obvious when was the last decade Alabama did not win at least one title? Next, you have more stock in Oregon and Texas and DeBoer is 4-0 against them with Washington? You may want to look up the ratio of blue chippers on Bama team currently, you may want to consider the talent projected to come in, you may want to be reminded that the facility and resources are second to none at Bama, name a better AD? This almost seems unreal the bias,almost as if it’s a negative pitch against Bama with all the momentum surrounding the program currently. Basically it’s no way you can honestly look at that roster with DeBoer and the resources at Bama and place six teams ahead of them. Question Bama defense as if outside Georgia and Ohio State the other teams have more talent on that side of the ball. The average fan has to see that it was no true logic put towards this. Consider this last thing the other teams were getting praised for recruiting and the portal, Bama praise was countered with gotta make it to signing day?? Seriously!!!
