The world would be a much kinder place if everyone took this kind of accountability and displayed this type of respect after a mistake has been made and to help turn a wrong into a right for the situation at hand. Absolutely nobody on this earth is perfect, I’m sure their actions together hurt a lot of folks but this kind of accountability and respect on his end is admirable. As a mother who has had the father of my child accept parentage freely and then question it three years later and attempt to evade support, I understand some of her “digs” but he responded well even to those. Kudos, sir.

That's when he realized that he believed he wasn't. He was smart, tho. He got ahead of the situation by telling his wife about it and she didn't know he already told his wife about it. So, her leverage was destroyed. And because she pulled him in court, she had no choice but to submit to the DNA test. Deep down, she knew he wasn't the father. Description A courtroom based tv show involving cases with issues related to child support/spousal support in Texas. All episodes include actors. Vonda Bailey is not a real Judge. She is a licensed attorney in the state of Texas who primarily handles cases involving child support and spousal support. The cases are based on real life scenarios of events that occur in child support courts. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

i love judges like this. i've seen so many where they immediately just pounce on the guy. one stands out. this guy was told he was the father. for years he raised the kid and paid. later found out he wasn't. he broke up with the girl and left. she seeked to get child support through him. he argued he wasn't the father and had no further obligation to pay. the judge ruled in favor OF THE WOMAN because the man "was a father figure to the child." Rational fair judges are where it's at
