Who's to Blame for Nashville Predators' Epic Choke Job Against the Vancouver Canucks?

The Nashville Predators have outplayed the Vancouver Canucks for most of the series, they've had the bulk of the chances in the past two games, and they're up against a third-string goalie. And yet, it's the Canucks -- not the Predators -- one win away from securing a seemingly-simple 4-1 series win.

The sad part is the preds need to show up for 60 minutes , but the Canucks need only need to show up for 4 minutes and win a game.

Best of 7. Preds Didn't show up in the 3rd for game 1. Barely hung on after 30 minutes of constant pressure in game 2. Couldn't muster a goal for 55 minutes in game 3 and took bad penalties that were capitalized on. Game 4 they collapsed when the just needed to win a couple battles, Canucks have really talented players, that's why they've scored goals in quick succession twice in the series, both times to take the lead from Preds.

FYI - Peckersson has been missing in action since the All-Star break. He plays like Bambi on ice now...fans are fed up with his play. Tocchet tells him no more late night gaming. No more Call of Duty vs Koreans at 3 am on game days. He suffers from gaming thumb disease as well...

@@tangofett4065 Except that it's more of a debuild. We've let a lot of really good players go but gotten almost nothing back (except deadcap) to build with. We need to trade overrated players like Josi and Saros for the high quality assets that we desperately need ACTUALLY rebuild.

I have bad memories of 2003-2004 Andrew Brunette leading the Minnesota Wild back from 3-1 down to smash the Vancouver Canucks in 7 and then smashing them in Game 7 in Vancouver. I could see it happening again. They need to put the Preds away in 5 or you could easily get back in the series.

Canucks play a patient game. Preds wasted to much energy shutting down Hughs. Preds should have taken last game but Canucks team played a patient game and waited for Preds to make a mistake. Preds were baffled when tied up and shocked. For Preds to win, they should just play their game and not waste energy going after players! Come on! Do 2 Preds need to smash Hughs? Canucks see that and will adjust! Karma got the team back for the Kick in goal 😂 shouldn't have counted! That got the Canucks going! Slapping Petterson down by 3 Preds wasn't very classy either!

What’s really worries on is Vancouver, this series, is absolutely playing their worst hockey of the year! They have yet to play a good game. Of the 242 minutes of hockey so far, Vancouver has played for 4 minutes. And they’re about to eliminate the preds…. If they play a half ass game, it’s over

If you’re from Nashville and you go to Predators games how about make noise and look interested???? The last game you were up two goals before the choke job and it was quiet. In game 6 how about make noise from start to finish because this is not the regular season it’s the playoffs!!!!!!

😂 saying the scoring line had 8 games playoff experience total is maybe you being funny. The actual combined postseason experience of the Canucks line that tied up the game is 219 games. And just the 3 you alluded to had 60 combined. Nashville wasn’t able to get any screened shots in the 3rd, most were perimeter because Van held their structure to keep it 3-1. One thing I haven’t heard from Nashville fans … comments on some of the dirty plays made by Sissons and O’Reilly. What did you think of that non-call? Sissons tackled Joshua’s head in the first. No call. O’Reilly at 18:46 in the 3rd made a blatant attempt to injure or 3rd-string goalie because somehow became so weak his left leg kicked out from under himself as he tripped Silovs inside the blue. My take is this. Nashville can come back in this series if they stop playing dirty and just play hockey. They have the talent to do it. We’ll see if they have the will.

LOL outplayed most of the series? No. Van deserved the first two games for sure. Only got one. Nash deserved a better fate in the last two but alas, couldn't get it done. Vancouver has not given the Preds their A game at all yet FYI. Third string goalie and still getting it done. Look at the season series....bla bla bla..."we're not the same team" bla bla bla. Go talk to the Oilers who said the same thing and still lost to Canucks all four games, even the later season one. Nucks are barely trying and still winning.
