Damn good interviewer, maybe because you've been interviewed so much yourself...but your asking all the questions I've had over the last few years after finding Mellow. As an old crusty filmmaker that is trying to dust off and get back into filming the vertical world (inspired by Mellow and a 16 year son that is cranking after burning out on ice hockey, thank god), I'm just starting back at offering my availability for shooting and editing services. I imagine if guys like these don't know you, your not getting on any lists, but still, hard climbers like them must sometimes need a rogue cameraman/cutter to capture their ascents. I'll be in south of France and Italy in the next month, with drone, gopro and Sony A7II.... (made Above the Smogline, Rock Climbing in and around LA) Thanks for making these - love this channel as much as seeing psyched videos!

mellow just created something great in climbing, the only negative thing about mellow is that is not realistic for 99% of the climbing population, not many people will manage to climb v15+ to actually be able to produce such quality content, thats the only negative ahaha

The content isn’t even that good of quality. The sends are just hard enough that the quality is less impactful.

@@jlehm I am sorry to say but you are delusional if you think the quality is not good. Their shots, music selection, sync and effects during the whole video is as aesthetic and pleasent as it can be, compare it to WEDGE or ROKDO and these are basic videos, mellow are on a different level of video edition that makes you thrilled through the whole video, but I will not spend more time convicing someone who won't believe me, after all I have a 5 year degree in multimedia and video edition, I don't need to be explaining myself on what I believe 100%.

@@Finn.noOffcial have you watched this video? Climbing hard is only part of the equation. Giuliano said he couldn’t handle filming with a real crew because it was too stressful and not just fun. Daniel openly admitted to doing nothing. Go figure why Shawn doesn’t respond to texts, emails, or go on the podcasts. He probably feels like he does everything else, those two can handle casual conversation at least.

Both of them later talk about how they source a lot of the videos that go on the channel. and they have huge individual followings that drive traffic to mellow as whole, as well as showing up to do interviews like this. The only thing they said they don’t do is handle merch…
