I had priviledge to visit Kashmir Srinagar district this April. I did see that too much electricity issues there especially for localites. Got full picture from our driver for that trip. Also i felt people are dependent on tourism to earn for the entire year. Hopefully J&K situation improves as i enjoyed my whole trip and the driver was really very nice.

Now, when it feels like the damage has already been done, they return with promises of change. However, despite this lingering mistrust, there is hope for the best. With time, people have become more responsible and politically aware. There is a recognition that development, infrastructure, and access to resources are essential for survival, and these cannot be secured without political engagement. Governments hold the key to critical resources, and when they distribute these unfairly-favoring certain groups over others-people now understand the importance of standing up for their rights. A shift in mindset has occurred, where people have begun to differentiate between right and wrong and realize that political participation is vital to ensuring their rights are protected and resources are not misused. In this new era, there is a stronger understanding that staying passive is no longer an option. Political participation is essential for securing one's rightful share and safeguarding interests in a rapidly changing political landscape. Let me share the actual ground reality scene... people from outside JK think that removing article 370 is the main reason for such high number of voting but the thing is people went out for voting to just make sure that BJP is not winning here. I am from j&k and when i see people talking rubbish about article 370 it makes me feel sad that they are simply becoming victim of bjp’s propaganda.
