Jamie, best eggs benedict in Angel are at the Fig & Olive on Upper Street. Second best, at the Blue Legume, also on Upper Street... That street from Angel till Highbury & Islington is the best street for food and drinks in London (maybe).. My favourite for sure... Lived for many years above the Hope & Anchor pub (a legendary rock pub on Upper Street). Check those places out.. Worth every penny and every second spent there!

Also, the Afghan Restaurant right next to the Tesco(on the corner) you shopped in is outrageous... Try the chicken in yogurt and the lamb.. Out of this world!
